A message that will surely provoke the wrath of the ICO opponents - the Confido project disappeared after it collected 347,000 dollars. The project sold tokens called CFD and claimed to offer "safe and care-free crypto-payments" to users.
The site and project data on reddit completely disappeared without a trace. The proposed founder and president, Just van Dur, who previously worked with eBay, sent a message to the company's Reddit:
We are in a difficult situation, because we have legal problems. Our legal adviser assured us that there is minimal risk, and signing contracts will not be a problem. I can not and will not go into details, but he was mistaken.
In the preparation of the ICO, TokenLot participated, which knows nothing about the current location of the coins. ICO, apparently, was a fraud, and although tokens were released, there was no real work on the platform.
Perhaps because of legal problems, or for some other reasons, the company simply disappeared, and all traces of its founders also disappeared. As a result of the disappearance, the price of the Confido token has lost more than 90 percent of the cost.
