hello people. small note to apologise for the cluster being stupid lately. this has been tracked down to someone being upset with the cluster and sending a lot of traffic to disrupt things. ddos anyone ? im going to change the firewall in a while and hopefully this should fix the interruptions. it would also be nice if we could get the miners to auto reconnect but it seems this is a feature they dont have.

Update on cluster... Had a long conversation with provider regarding the mess that's going on with the connection and they have stated that the problem is "fixed" BUT it's far from fixed. The line is down more than its up so I will be disabling the cluster for the next week or maybe sooner if the line gets sorted. I would rather it be off than guess when its on. When things are stable again I shall post here. Happy New Year folks :/ Mic.

Just had noticefrom my isp that the fault with my line eta fix is 3rd Jan. Cluster is intermittent until then. Sorry about this.

Certainly will do when I get home. Spoken to raster and we believe this could be the reason the cluster has random dropouts due to cpu over utilisation. Raster said he will hopefully have a fix for later this evening. Thank you everyone for your understanding and support whilst we get this sorted.

I have noticed the cluster wallet will automatically start mining without any action to make it do so, has anyone else noticed their wallet automatically start mining ? It did not happen on the previous version of the wallet. I'll continue to investigate.

I've been digging around with the reports about the cluster and I am looking into the reasons its being grumpy with some of you. I connect to it over a separate internet connection (to act as an outside user) to test and I do not get the same problems that have been reported. Is there a pattern to the disconnects or does it happen at random times ? Does it reconnect straight away when you close the miner and start it up again ? What is the average ms for your miner to get work ? Thank you.

So, a little update regarding the cluster downtime later on... It WILL be off for at least 25 / 30 mins due to a HD swap and machine move. I will try and get it done as quick as possible but life and such. Peace and love. Mic.

Now I get less than 20 a day with over 1KH so I have set this up and tested it. It works and I have mined 2 blocks today. I would like to point out that when solo mining you make blocks not hash them. So things are not going to look the same as when you are pool mining.
