1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Proportional Payout Pools with 5% Finder Reward on: July 27, 2013, 08:34:15 AM
Sorry that previous comment was probably a bit blunter than it needed to be.

Consider it a by-product of my frustrations that any kind of ETA would go a long way to alleviating this.

I like the pool, especially the reward for block finders. More pools should have this perk.

Am I mistaken that the pool hash rate has dropped quite a lot?

The Megacoin pool is definitely broken.

Constantly losing mass amounts of shares because of disconnections.

I was just wondering about this situation the other day, interesting article.

Figured the value would just increase, but it's startling to think that so many coins have been lost already.

There is no point to any of the alt-coins because they provide no value other than a means to make the owners of the exchanges rich and/or a means for late-comers to be able to get some bitcoins in a faster and easier fashion.

Unless an alt-coin is accepted for goods and services it has no value and cannot have value.
