1  Economy / Digital goods / Selling verified paypal with $1,200 balance on: June 24, 2013, 08:30:41 PM
Would like to sell a verified US paypal with $1,200 balance.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Moneybookers on: June 19, 2013, 09:35:39 PM
Is moneybookers considered a reversible payment or do people prefer it to paypal? A lot of people are against selling bitcoins for paypal and I don't blame them with the chargeback system paypal has but what about moneybookers?
3  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 2 BTC w/PayPal on: June 19, 2013, 09:32:23 PM
To avoid chargebacks you can use a mule account over a proxy/VPN, making sure to delete your cookies first.
4  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [SELL] Looking to Sell BTC | Bank Transfer, MoneyGram, WU, PokerStars, etc. on: June 19, 2013, 04:54:44 PM

5  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $99 PayPal for $95 BTC on: June 19, 2013, 04:53:24 PM
You're a scammer but if you'd go first/use escrow someone might.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we want to work with money regulators, or keep Bitcoin unregulated? on: June 19, 2013, 04:48:09 PM
Bitcoin is about freedom and it should stay that way.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: June 19, 2013, 02:54:31 PM
There is no point to any of the alt-coins because they provide no value other than a means to make the owners of the exchanges rich and/or a means for late-comers to be able to get some bitcoins in a faster and easier fashion.

Unless an alt-coin is accepted for goods and services it has no value and cannot have value.
Exactly and right now bitcoin is only just on the verge of becoming commonly accepted, it still has a long way to go. But these random other coins don't.

9  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: has anyone tried "double your bitcoins"? on: June 19, 2013, 07:38:07 AM

10  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: June 19, 2013, 06:56:13 AM
I hope this ends up working out well for legit traders, and also that the scammers don't get ahead of the system.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: June 19, 2013, 06:44:27 AM
I am quite confused about this. The fastest possible way to rank up is to make one post every 2 weeks? So if I log in every other monday and make a post it would be the same as me posting a few times every day?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get credit, purchase Bitcoin, declare bankruptcy, profit?? on: June 19, 2013, 05:19:54 AM
If you moved to a country your government couldn't extradite you from you could start a new life there.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: June 19, 2013, 05:09:31 AM
Seems smart but now I lost my three coins.
14  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1 BTC with paypal on: June 19, 2013, 05:06:52 AM
selling 1 btc via paypal for 125 USD  - no escrow if u still need it .
I will think about it if you will use John K as escrow, I can cover his fee. 125 is a bit steep and not using an escrow is too risky.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How governments could destroy bitcoin (for most) in one day on: June 18, 2013, 04:02:09 PM
Although it wouldn't be the direct cause of destroying bitcoin it would make the service less valuable if they did it regularly.
16  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: June 18, 2013, 03:53:34 PM
The butterzone is a paypal hater... I dont know what they did to him? anal probe is my guess... This tactic seems like complete bullshit to me, just deal with people with a good reputation and you dont have to worry about it. I buy and sell coins everyday for paypal. I dont have fake accounts and mule accounts and all that crazy shit.  I just built trust slowly. When I sell for paypal it is to people who are new to the bitcoin community. I sell to people with no feedback history.... I have done hundreds of transactions over the last 7 months with no charge backs to speak of. If you would like to trade for paypal in a charge back free environment you are welcome to deal with us at bitcoin friends on facebook. We have started to introduce additional sellers to the page, right now there is only 3 but we hope to add other trusted sellers in the future. We have also started a seller insurance pool. We are contributing one percent of our sells and of the fees we receive to a public bitcoin address our trusted sellers are given the private key and in the event of proven fraud they will be permitted to drawl from the insurance pool.
That's interesting because I was not explaining the mule account system for my sake but for people I hope to buy bitcoins from. I am new here so I have no trust, but if you are selling bitcoins to newcomers I am interested in buying one.
17  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB 1 Bitcoin with Paypal on: June 18, 2013, 12:27:15 PM

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hong Kong and bitcoins on: June 18, 2013, 12:24:22 PM
Please trade Bitcoin at www.BitCashOut.com

We are located at Hong Kong. Currently four currencies are supported: HKD, CNY, USD and EUR.

HK dollars is in controlled by HK central bank which will be heavily influcened by PRC.... BTW, the number of geeks who will use bitcoins in HK is fewer than the number of geerks in US / UK dollar area...

There is no central bank in Hong Kong. HKD is pegged to USD for historical reasons which means the money printing done by US central bank devalues HKD just like USD.

I do want to know what's the cheapest way to convert bitcoin to money in a HK bank account though. Anyone have experience?
How much business does your site get?
19  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: June 18, 2013, 12:19:33 PM
Are there any staff here who can vouch for this bitcoin bank?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin or Feathercoin? on: June 18, 2013, 12:15:41 PM
Why not both
Litecoin is bitcoins baby brother, feathercoin isn't a major coin.
