1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BlueCoin (ß) |Hybrid Cold Staking | Bluetooth | 3% Annual Rewards on: December 03, 2017, 08:50:30 AM
Can anyone who has been around much longer than me help to explain the history of this project? it looks like it went dead for 3 years and was recently revived maybe? In the few revival posts that are out there, there doesn't seem to be any attempt to explain why the project went dead or why it's coming back.

I don't want to write it off without learning more, but there seems to be next to no community, the website is full of typos and more importantly doesn't explain why BlueCoin is unique.

My more skeptical side says it's being revived simply because there is a chance for the developers (and former BlueCoin believers) to make some Bitcoin since the entire crypto space is booming. Maybe the code was sitting there and they figured it was worth a shot? Or maybe BlueCoin brings something new to the crypto space and has a reason to exist, unlike so many other coins/tokens out there today?

More info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone?

I understand most of what Kore is trying to achieve and want to support the mission.

I don't understand how the token comes into play or what conditions would be necessary to drive up its value. Can anyone ELI5?

I could be helpful to read the entire OP page, check out twitter and other SM
comments and videos. Then read it again.
If you want inside info. I cant help you.
Just a matter of time...

It's true. MikeMike is tight as a drum when it comes to insider info. Good news is that he's been right about KORE all along.

Question for @mikemike

Will the MN rewards change? If so, is there a table showing expected payouts for MN's in relation to number of MN instances?

Not looking for any insider info, just having a mental block in trying to price the value of the coin. I understand what is trying to be done end-user product wise and I salute all the devs!

What concerns me is that there is next to no real communication from the team. Try posting on Reddit or in their Discord channel. Start with the most basic of questions. Even if we assume they are hard at work developing, are we to believe that they don't have 30 minutes a day to scan the internet and keep their investors updated? Sounds like it was a great idea from a couple guys who had no idea as to how to actually implement it. Not shilling CyberMiles, but imagine the team there decided to tackle a decentralised sports betting platform. It would probably be a market leader within a year.

If another team picks up this same idea as Wagerr, please do post here. It's clearly the future of online sports betting, but buying Wagerr now seems like one hell of a gamble.
