Fontas hasnt pumped in a long time and he said its because the prices arent settled.
I bet you he is prepumping a bunch of currencies right now.

The only way to do that would be to dump any currency you have the moment he announces a pump... but people won't do that because it's not profitable.
The best thing to do is the buy along with Fontas right up to the point where he sets up the "wall", and then dump it before he does. Risky, but more profitable.
What is the purpose of setting up the wall though? And how does it profit to sell before the wall is set up? |

I know what pumps and dumps are but can someone explain to me how they work, in detail please?
This is my understanding:
You put a bunch of money in and create a buy wall in which the sellers dont have enough to fill.
(Does that make the price go up?)
After the price goes up, then you sell.
What if people are not willing to buy all of your coins?
Why would people buy coins when the price is high?
What is a "noob trap", i read that on one of fontas tweets.
From my understanding, this is how a Fontas pump REALLY works: Fontas slowly buys a bunch of cryptocurrency really cheap under different user names. Then he announces on Twitter that he's going to "pump" the currency. All of his followers on Twitter and BTC-E buy up the coins, causing the value to rise. On the day of the "pump", Fontas creates a massive sell order slightly over market value called a "wall", and announces that the "pump" is on. People start buying it like crazy, driving up the price quickly. Fontas unloads his holdings at a big profit, and leaves the "noobs" with crypto currency that is rapidly falling in value. If they panic sell it fast enough, Fontas might buy the currency again for a second wave of pump and dump. And the noobs fall for it every time. Suckers. Good explanation, thanks. The noobs should gang up against him. |

I am tired of BQC staying in the same place and hovering over 0.000040 BTC.
Does anyone want to help me pump and dump the BBQ Coin market?
We can make a few bucks off of it but there has to be a large group of people.
If anyone is willing, pump at the price 0.0000382 BTC. Theres already a large amount at that price.

Why are people investing in so many seemingly useless cryptocoins?
Why not jump on board on on coin, BQC for example and make the prices surge?
It's pointless to spread out the investments so much when you could put it on one coin and have it surge.

I imagine that basic supply and demand laws would apply. What kind of buy order would it be ? Would it be a strict limit order (ie, don't pay more than X BTC / BQC ? Then the buyer might be able to keep the total price of his purchase down, particularly if it were done over many days in many smaller buys. Personally, I would spend it on BQC because right now its low priced on the market and its accepted in a couple of restaurants on the market.
Isn't LTC already high priced?
The entire BQC network has this nasty habit of completely dying for months at a time though... But thats the exact time you should buy. It has survived a 51% attack and its better to buy it now when prices are down than to have bought it when it was 7 cents a pop in the early days. It wont stay down. Hopefully it goes up to 10 cents each. |

What are you talking about? I was reading a post from May 7, 2013 where people were going crazy over an offer of 1000 BQC for 2 BTC! Thats far from "hardly anything!" Thats $200 for "hardly anything" |
