Is this why the price of BTC on localbitcoins.com has gone up so high recently? The margin appears to me 10%+ Maybe, I'll sell some BTC and move to India. What could I buy there as a foreigner tourist? Can I open a bank account, buy some property, gold, jewelry or something?

I would look on the internet for a good site. And with a good review. If you can not, you can also first you call the bank or another company.
Its better to find a trader who accepts credit card and continue your purchase of bitcoin. Most of the traders contacted through local bitcoins will accept it Thank you. Isn't the margin quite high on localbitcoins for credit cards? There is long list here but not much information on which of these is trustworthy. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_CardI would also like a good rate of course, i.e. not more than 3% margin if possible. Anyone have experience with any of these?

They are just using OKpay bank info for deposits pretty sure, "Mayzeus" is a partner of Okpay and handles their transactions. Both will hold large transactions from 3rd party for all sorts of verification and can take a while but doesn't help if you just get no engrish one word answers
Similar thing happened to me. Send 10k USD to Okpay. My account was already verified and had sent them a wire before. They switched banks right after I sent. Support told me that the wire would "bounce" and automatically be returned after 30 days. Haven't asked my bank to initiate a trace yet as they they seem reputable enough.

Would this path work:
1. Only one localbtc to buy coins.
2. Send from localbtc to bc.info Wallets A and B
3. b.info Wallet A sends to Electrum A
4. b.info Wallet B sends to Electrum B
Would electrum A and B still have linkage due to the original localbtc wallet?
Yes, albeit a weaker one since there's an intermediate transaction in between. What would a better method be? I thought that when you transfer btc to and from a web wallet, such as blockchain.info, the coins that get transferred out are not really the same ones you put in. They are a random bunch of coins from the pool which blockchain.info is holding ofr its users. Wouldn't that mean that the coins coming from bc.info A and B would not be related to the original localbtc wallet as they are not actually coins that came from there.

I'm having a hard time understanding what happened in your example. I'm pretty sure you have 180 minutes after you initiate a trade to make the payment and mark the trade as paid. Did the buyer wait too long to click the "payment made" button? Whatever the case, just stay in touch with the buyer and let him know the situation until it's resolved.
Yes, he waited to long and it automatically canceled. Ended up starting a new transaction and just releasing escrow without payment.

I'm using an offline computer for storage. Do you think it is worth moving all the files or maybe just the .dat file into a truecrypt drive or is that unnecessary and potentially could lead to glitches?

The addresses may be linked in the future, for example, you receive 1BTC at address A and 1BTC at address B. You need to send Bob 1.5BTC, so your client sends 1BTC from A and 0.5BTC from B in the same transaction. Somebody who is checking the blockchain can see that A and B both belong to the same person.
They are not 'linked' by the same seed.
If you wish to not have two payments link together, you should generate a seperate wallet file and keep the payments in seperate wallets.
Thanks! Would this path work: 1. Only one localbtc to buy coins. 2. Send from localbtc to bc.info Wallets A and B 3. b.info Wallet A sends to Electrum A 4. b.info Wallet B sends to Electrum B Would electrum A and B still have linkage due to the original localbtc wallet?

Hi, noob here so probably totally confused....
When I open an electrum wallet, several receiving addresses are generated. Are these linked to each other in some way? For example, I designate one address for receiving from Bob and a different address for receiving from Joe, will Bob and Joe's transactions be linked?
I'm working on creating an offline electrum wallet for saving some btc and would like to have those coins anonymous. Would this work?
1. Buy on localbtc
2. Localbtc wall to Blockchain info wall.
3. Blockchain info wall to electrum wall

I'm a trusted bitmit GC seller, and I want to restock on some BTC before the price rises more.
I'm willing to pay with cash mailed to you, bullion mailed to you, a bank deposit, or OKPay.
Right now I'm buying at Gox price.
Pm me if interested, and we can talk about how deal goes down
If you have funds in OKPay, can't you just deposit on BTC-e and buy the coins there? Yes, they charge 2%. Used to be 0%. Why would you buy at Gox when you can buy at BTC-e price + 2%?

He deposited eventually but the transaction automatically canceled.
Localbitcoins says to seller has option to REOPEN the escrow.
Buyer too is slow or non-responsive: The escrow is automatically cancelled unless the buyer presses Mark payment done within the payment window (usually 90 minutes). If this was a mistake in this case you can reopen the escrow if you want to finish the trade with this buyer.
Unfortunately, there is no option to do so. Do they mean that the seller should begin a new transaction with the same buyer? I messaged localbitcoins but they haven't answered and I guess they will not over the weekend. Now the buyer is all annoyed cause he thinks I'm trying to run away with the btc when I'm actually just trying to do it correcnt.
Please give advice!

gox price is irrelevant.
do you have some more breaking news?
since its biggest trade website,it should reflect the situation on bitcoin.i think that many buyers refer it as a flag... No, bitstamp is the biggest trading website. And you can't withdraw from Gox so even if BTC were worth 1,000,000 there you'd still get nothing from the site. gox is ridiculous!!!its need id verification then you can trade on this Platform!!!i use btc-e is quite easy and fast than it .by the way bitstamp is look . How come btc-e always has the lowest rate?

Has anyone tried withdrawing to the card via Bitcurex EURO?
They cancel my withdrawal and I get this message:
You withdraw has been canceled by staff becouse one or more data is missing: -IBAN bank Code -SWIFT/BIC bank code -Personal address
The Iban is PL+24 digit account SWIFT: BREXPLPW. I also tried BREXPLPWXXX. Bitxcurex shows 12 digits in their SWIFT example, so not sure what that is. Address could be anything since the card are anonymous, right?
Any other BTC service that works better for loading it?
