For the last time XCASH does 'not' use IRC.. this code was forked from sdc and the IRC part is legacy unused code. Your detective work has led you to the irc channel for another coin. It took me exactly 2mins to work that out.
Such expert!
Yup! https://github.com/SDCDev/shadowcoin/blob/master/src/irc.cpp

Quickest way is to edit the file "Makefile" and just remove "-loleaut32", "-lboost_system-mgw46-mt-1_54", etc.
Those are windows specific and not needed. Be sure to remove just those exact strings and don't add any extra spaces or lines.

Hello everyone,
If you are currently using the P2Pool at 94.23.26.37 please read on.
The pool will be shutting down 48 hours from now.
It is a spare server that I had already paid for and wasn't using for anything else and the service expires two days from now.
There are a few other good pools in this thread so please switch over to those before Wednesday (the 19th).
Thank You
Final reminder. 12 Hours left.

Just a friendly reminder:
"the first 576 blocks will have no reward"
"Expect the starting difficulty to be hard."
|
|
|
It should be better now. I didn't anticipate this many users.

Mind telling us the versions of Multibit, Windows and Java?
I ask because the original bitcoin client seeds the random number generator "with a screen scrape and other hardware sources", specifically when it's running on Windows.
Whereas bitcoinj (which Multibit relies on) simply calls SecureRandom() without seeding the PRNG first.
