4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Transaction unconfirmed for 4 days with a high fee! on: January 09, 2018, 08:54:58 PM
Hey everyone,

A few days ago I did a transaction worth around 100 euros with a fairly high fee ($11) it's still not confirmed I've never experienced something like this before I don't really care to much since it's a small amount but still if this were to happen with a big transaction...

I used to cash out virtual items from games such as CS:GO etc.. to bitcoins and then sell it for real money, I've did this for over 3 years now and I quit doing it because I can't trust bitcoin anymore any of you have bad experiences with bitcoin aswell? let me know i'm interested!

If someone knows what's going on i'd like to hear it thanks in advance!

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:39:08 PM
I don't think BTC will survive, I assume some other crypto will take over.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 220k unconfirmed transactions on: December 08, 2017, 06:14:12 PM
No.

Confirmations have NEVER been "almost instant".  On average, transactions with a high enough transaction fee take 10 minutes.  Confirmations that don't have a high enough transaction fee to get into the next block need to wait until a later block.  This is how bitcoin has ALWAYS worked.

Bitcoin is known for irreversible transactions.
Bitcoin is known for permission-less access.
Bitcoin is known for trustless peer-to-peer transactions.
Bitcoin is known for being decentralized.
Bitcoin is known for being secure.
Bitcoin is known for "almost instant" UNCONFIRMED transactions.

Bitcoin is popular because it's fast banks can't keep up with bitcoin but right now BTC is just getting slower and slower and it seems like banks are becoming faster. that's all i'm saying.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Could someone accelerate my transaction? on: December 08, 2017, 04:10:15 PM
Hello,

My transaction has been stuck for about 40 hours now I hope someone could help accelerate it, I got about $20 left which I could tip you for helping me.

Thanks in advance for helping me!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 220k unconfirmed transactions on: December 08, 2017, 03:49:18 PM
Hey everyone,

It's crazy how many transactions are stuck at the moment I just saw some transactions worth $250 with a fee of almost $40!!
My transactions from 2 days ago with a fee of $5 still haven't confirmed it's pretty messed up, isn't bitcoin known for the almost instant transactions? right now the network is as slow as a snail.  Undecided

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

I hope the bitcoin hype will settle down soon so our normal bitcoin users can continue their business, right now it's very expensive to send transactions.

Have any of you guys have stuck transactions aswell or paid insane amounts fee? let me know i'm interested.

13  Economy / Speculation / Re: CAN BITCOIN CROSS $10K BY DECEMBER? on: November 16, 2017, 08:40:17 PM

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: November 15, 2017, 10:20:06 PM
I earned some bitcoins from faucets when it was very easy to make some profit from there, they were paying shit like they are doing now, only that you could easily earn a 0.005 a day (it was below $0.50 by that time) and now it almost $35, so if you think about it, it is a lot of money.
I think that i made more than 0.20 on faucets and in some other kind of freebie sathoshis and some giveaways, but most part of my bitcoins has been purchased by me, i dont like to beg for money or just to get it for free.

I like the idea of faucet, but to actually make a good amount of money with this just seems impossible.

Hey everyone,

I was wondering how most people here receive their bitcoins? I personally handle in virtual items in video games. (CS:GO, DOTA 2, PUBG) I sell these items on a marketplace and receive BTC for them I also join a online casino now and then to try and make some easy BTC!

Do you guys just invest in bitcoins and not touch them? I personally use mine on a daily base for purchases / trading etc..

Let me know i'm interested!  Grin

Good idea to sell virtual idea for crypto. Be sure to gamble only for fun and don't expect to get rich from gambling... Only risk you can afford to lose, you can find this sentence in nearly every 5th or 6th post in connection with gambling, but it's still true. You can easily lose the amount you gather from selling those things.
If you think that it's easy come and easy go, then it's not a problem to gamble a bit...
If you want to earn some bitcoins after you have lost everyting in casinos, check the services section of the forum, there are always some small jobs paying in bitcoin

Yea I know buddy, thanks for the warning tho I only deposit little amounts but when I get to a big amount I tend to push it a little because when you're gambling with BTC you sometimes forget how much it's actually worth in comparisation with real money.

I get my Bitcoins from a small invest and from bounty programs. Which casino are you using, and is this rentable?

I play on bitcasino.io and i'm not sure  if it is rentable.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: November 15, 2017, 08:23:21 PM
I do get my Bitcoin from doing works.  I offer my service and in return they pay me in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency which then I convert to Bitcoin.  I do use my Bitcoin for my daily expenses and save some for future use or future profit.

Sounds awesome!

It's already being taxed in the Netherlands, you're supposed to see bitcoins as actual savings, not that dutch people actually show that they have bitcoins but..
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 14, 2017, 10:28:46 PM
