Ken, please disregard all requests for shareholder information above and just f'ing get it done. Share price doesn't matter now, the only thing that matters is getting the boards out as soon as possible.

Wasting time placating people will get you no closer to the goal.

Those of us that think using easic tech is a brilliant move and realise that your time is better spent getting shit done than talking about getting shit done will buy up all the low shares Smiley

I've sold out at a good profit. I won't buy back in until there is something a little more concrete.

1) Doesn't it seem strange to you that labcoin posts hours after the price drop with vague good news? Really, the chips just arrived? Lucky break I guess!

2) They haven't posted any pictures of said chips. That would just make sense given the extreme skepticism of the market - Although, this doesn't happen with the other startups either. If only people knew that all we want is a regular update with something concrete.

3) Why on earth would theswede be buying BFL machines if he can invest in labcoin? That just does my head in. If you have inside knowledge, surely that's a vote of no confidence.

Status update

We have received the first chip batch and we're working full speed on finalizing the controller board design, mining will start no later than 10 September with about 3-4 TH, and to reach the full speed within October. Dividend payments will start on the same week.
We again remind everyone that the team shares won't be sold. We understand the investors concerns and we will be publishing pictures of the installment as soon as we are able to, before mining will start.

Please take some photos of the boxes and a few chips, just to ease our minds. That should only take a few minutes right?

One thing that's been bugging me, perhaps I missed it, but what was the deal with the labcoin teams shares? Did they ever get back to us and let us know whether they have sold any?

Bump? Surely this was resolved a long time ago.

TheSweede said that no one has sold any and they wont sell for 12 months. I can't find the post now.

Great thanks for the tldr.

0.02 is realistic. Anything up to 0.08 is possible, it all depends upon the competition and hardware sell through. Anything above 0.02 is too much until we hit oct/nov though.

Assuming a rational market. That's a very strong assumption Smiley

I'd be interested. What sort of timeframe are you looking at purchasing?

History shows that there is usually one clear winner with 1-2 secondary players taking < 20% of the market.
My bet is that BTC, LTC and another (zero if it's successful) will be the top three. My current mining strategy is BTC 2/3 LTC 1/3 but that will probably be BTC 1/3 LTC 2/3 in the coming months as difficulty increases.

Obviously sites like coinchoose allow you to find out the most profitable at the moment but they ignore the LTV of the currency. Similarly do all profitability calculations for ASIC's etc - if coins increase in value c.f. fiat by an order of magnitude like a lot of people suggest, then pretty much everything will be profitable.

I tend to think with the coming LTC announcements there will be a rise in the currencies value.

Hmm, it seems that for every one of the asic companies (except asicminer) there are multiple conspiracy theories surrounding them, in particular pre-mining using customer paid-for hardware, never shipping, no escrow etc. Are there any that have very good reputations or are they all "extremely high risk"?
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the fastest shipping ASIC? on: June 17, 2013, 12:57:52 PM
Great, that's just what I was looking for. Looks like KNC miner is the way to go.
Now to do some digging on the company!
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Which is the fastest shipping ASIC? on: June 17, 2013, 12:19:57 PM
I'm looking at buying an ASIC rig to complement my 7950's and I'm not sure which of the products on the market are a)legit and b)shipping soon. Is there a site that goes over all the specs, shipping times etc that I've missed? It seems that everyone is claiming "the asics are coming" but no one is really sure when, if ever they are going to hit the network.
