1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 12, 2017, 03:36:02 PM
Maybe not bitcoin exactly, but cryptocurrency will get bigger. IMHO, crypto has potential of at least 10% of global transactions within 10 years.

Bitcoin is worth 2% of so of Gold at the moment and only a tiny amount of the economy. Bitcoin was like an alien seed that is growing wild and will always have its place in history. However, there must be doubts it can evolve/adapt fast enough to remain dominant.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 134k unconfirmed transactions now. I'm starting to get really worried about this on: November 12, 2017, 03:17:18 PM
Currently sitting around 174k.

BCH difficulty adjustment in a few hours so will get a fair bit of hashrate back to clear down the unconfirmed transactions. However, the people doing this are in it to win it so I expect we will have some surprises over the next few days.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is going to happen to the hashrate over the next few days on: November 12, 2017, 03:01:40 PM
Hi,

The last few days have been crazy - especially the bitcoin cash rise lately. However, I am not sure how this is going to play out. This is what I know so far at this time.

1. Most hashrate has moved to Bitcoin Cash because it is currently more lucrative to mine those coins and there are probably a lot of politics at play as well.
2. BCH will hit a difficulty adjustment in a few hours time and then it will be more lucrative to mine BTC.
3. BCH will hard fork on Nov 13th and adjust its EDA so that it won't have any more wild fluctuations.
4. The original BTC 2x hardfork block will come and there is bound to be some fun and games - following which some pools will move to BCH exclusively.

So what do you think the hash rate split will be next sunday? - I have no idea.
