ok thanks for the info guys. I've been sifting through sites for days gathering info, but they were quite old articles. Struggled to find anything recent about these cards, so was wondering whether they were still supported or if they no longer mined efficiently these days. If they're only likely to mine something like 40 dollars a month between them, its probably not worth the bother because of the electric expense. Shame, would have been good to recycle the cards...i'll have to find some better cards that draw less power and make the switch to NVidia.
I'll get a setup together and plug them in anyway to crunch some numbers and learn the art of mining. I'm still interested in what they're capable of achieving, and I suppose if I go full maniac and break one from overclocking, it wont matter so much....
