2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAG] MAGNET - X11 FULL POS + Masternodes + Merchant Tools / magnetwork.io on: March 09, 2019, 09:51:08 PM
You should not compare the Magnet and most of the projects that are on the market. Unfortunately, today's market is filled with scam projects that are doomed to failure. And Magnet has pretty good prospects!
The project Magnum has a good team, there is a strong community, there is a great idea and proven technologies ...  I think that the project lacks marketing and aggressive advertising policy. It seems to me that we need to work in this direction.

A strong community is relative here. If you compare this in terms of numbers to some other communities, I would consider this still relatively small.
Agreed, especially in crypto I would consider quality over quantity with regards to the community size. The Stellar game market is still in the process of launching but already has double digit game listings.

Being a smaller community, price matching that, but having Stellar real time pairs, multiple MN and staking apps, an eCommerce digital marketplace, a full commerce plugin, and multi-github updates published weekly, this chain may not be the next Bitcoin but is leaps and bounds than most of the other 2200 chains out there. Time will tell Smiley

Thanks for the discussion Pavel, Zahmere, and mv1986, fair input from all ends.

Past week we had very first public community voice call that was a success. Next one is set to happen on Feb 9, 2019 @ 10AM EST on MAG Discord.

First of all — THANK YOU everyone who joined our very first LIVE VOICE community call. Special thanks to @JustCoinITWorldWide [a.k.a WorldWide] for orchestrating this with such brio and verve. The call lasted over 2 hours, but we have managed to elaborate many ideas and structure our actions moving forward.
This call was a great opportunity to discover our community members. We acknowledge the importance of organizing such meetings to better share our vision for MAG as a community project. We also want to make this an opportunity to gather ideas, suggestions and feedback from everyone.
It was a great event. You need to carry out such things more often. This contributes to strengthening the spirit in the project community.
It really was awesome! such activities should be carried out as often as possible. This strengthens the community well ... especially in such difficult times for crypto investors and the entire crypto industry.

+1 to invested calls being added to the rhythm of business wherever possible. It'll be great for organic word of mouth growth. Great idea and kudos to the organizers

Oh, no. Don’t say it like that Shocked I won’t stand it.. we all waited for market to become more vivid, but nothing has actually changed until now.
It is impossible to predict exactly when the market will turn, but it is certain that it will happen in the future. And then projects like MAGNET will show what they are capable of and what their potential is.
Oh, if it could be predicted. I think that even the most serious analysts are now at a dead end because they did not expect such a state of the market.

Sad to say, but regulation in crypto is needed to help stop this 'Wild West' market of bandits and manipulating prices. Fingers crossed, but this team and community has been consistently performing. Continuous improvement and a humble team are great signs to a healthy software IMO, when it does pump, I'll be there.

Just hope it's not the BTC halfing. Surely adoption this winter will wake the bulls Smiley
Who knows.

Agreed on the great buy!

My MN's already rewarded me a MN in January so these VPS discounts are coming in handy! I have Hostodo for $12 USD covering each MN, much cheaper than Vultr!

Would you be willing to sell just the APW3 PSUs?

Sure would. Got an offer and quantity in mind? All used on 240 distributed lines, so great condition.

Thanks for the interest!

How many do you still have left?

8 left.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: November 09, 2018, 07:11:25 PM
D3s are $39 from Bitmain. Spondolies has a 540GH/s miner for $14k available.

Import dues will KILL that price point. My best guess is double the cost, but have not ordered since recent tariffs impacted Bitmain's business model.

Btw, 14k for an x11 miner. I guess if you have too much money and want to waste it. If power is the driver to this product (https://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/spx36), do what many of us did and outfit a shipping container and send it to cheap power Smiley I'm too poor but I have a CAD if anyone needs it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: November 08, 2018, 10:44:08 PM
Can't understand how dash hasrate is increasing!

I've seen D3s go for $40. Separately I know a handful of folks who are part of a 50 Gw windmill project buying all the hardware they can.

Free power and cheap miners make for increased hashrate. Most of these D3s have been offline since the bubble burst.
13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling lots of Bitmain L3+; D3; & APW3++ [Bulk Discuounts, Vetted Seller] on: November 07, 2018, 04:02:20 PM
Please check my profile for feedback and past sales. Trying to get all of them sold. No reasonable offer turned down, but these prices are already super low so please keep that in mind.

Machines:
All the machines are working and in good shape (under warranty with Bitmain). All but two D3's are the 19.3 GH/s model, two D3's are the new 17GH/s both un-opened. The L3+ works beautifully, two are un-opened.

https://imgur.com/a/VHTLznQ [photo of the items below]

Current stock [1] of L3+ Miner = $150 + Ship
Current stock [16] of D3 Miner = $120 + Ship
Current stock [20] of APW3++ PSU = $60 + Ship
Current stock [2] of 24plug 240v, digital amp PDU = $175 + Ship
Current stock [1] of Cisco unmanned 16 port switch = $50 + Ship

Shipping:
Shipped from Seattle WA USA to anywhere in the USA, will provide you a copy of receipt so it is purely what shipping costs with no profit.

Please add $8 if you would like tracking sent to you within 24 hours of shipping.

Why sell:
Divorce reduced funds leaving me unable to finance the bill.

Payment:
Major crypto preferred (XMR, BTC, LTC, ETH, DASH). Escrow offered if we split the costs, but always an option. Sadly, I want these sold so I will take Paypal also because I'm using them for eBay anyway.

Still have 14 D3's at 19 Gh/s and 2 at 17 Gh/s, PSU for them all, a single L3+, and the Power Distribution Units for sale.

I'll do a D3 and PSU for $180 flat. Ten dollars off per set when you buy multiple, for example: [5x D3's and 5xAPW3++ for $850] seems like a good deal.
Thank you!

D3 is profitable again so we've listed it. Enjoy.

Drugs?

I'll take two drugs please. I can trade you 18 D3s

A soundcloud store link? Lol, I'll cover making you an eCommerce for a free miner Wink
Just good old teasing, best of luck on the store Crane.

I still have 14 D3's, 13 are 19 G/hz while 4 are 15 G/hz.
$120 per machine, plus shipping. Escrow of course offered.
Bulk discounts offered, plus add on's like routers and power distribution units to keep the current healthy Smiley
16  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling lots of Bitmain L3+; D3; & APW3++ [Bulk Discuounts, Vetted Seller] on: October 08, 2018, 09:28:23 PM
I'll pick up all the D3's if you can give me the right price.

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the delay in response, I just fixed my account settings so I can see replies in my email.
Most of the farm is still for sale, down to one L3 and only about 15 D3s & APW3++ PSUs. The router (unmanaged Cisco, plug and play config), PDUs (really extend life of the miners by controlling the variation in voltage that is common in environments which do not have a battery backup in-line), and cords are all still available and WAY under price when compared to brick and mortar/ebay/amazon sellers.

May piece together a new farm in the next few months now that I'm back to work, but still up for selling all there.

I am in negotiation to sell ten (10) APW3++s, for $850 including shipping. Logic below:

"Browsing all current sale prices on eBay and Bitcointalk for PSU's, I see them for $70-90. Most listings require shipping, which costs an arm and leg (I'm seeing around $18-30, some with free the closer to $90 we get).

How about we do ten APW3++'s, all tested/working (only used on a 240v line with backup battery and PDU connection leaving them running as efficiently as possible. Others have commented in agreement with that statement) and shipping included for $850. I selected that to land the middle price of the PSUs while absorbing shipping to reduce the fees which would make this costly going other places for the supplies.

So, $850 in BTC/ LTC/ ETH? If you don't mind covering a 3% escrow fee, a 'legendary' status members of the community can help provide a middle man to ensure your comfort through the process. Photos of the packing, up until the shipment with any custom writing offered as well, but hopefully the photos and previous sales add comfort on your end.
"

PM's are most efficient means to contact. Provide zipcode if you want me to estimate shipping for lowest cost. I'm unable to front anything to newbie accounts, but will gladly work out a plan to make sure we both feel secure in the arrangement.

Thanks!

is anyone facing a D3 that is rebooting by itself?

I have 2 D3 that are working fine, all chips are good and hashing however when I login to check, I see that it has been up for few hours, even-though I have never turned it OFF.

Cycle the firmware, make sure the temp is steady.

Check the logs after the reboot. If new firmware does not help, post the logs and some community member will likely help you out.
