We run all of our fans at a flat 80%. Seems to be a good compromise between good airflow, and not killing the fans.

Tried using 80% fan speed and about 6 out of 20 fan died after 3 months.... is it because of the sapphire brand I am using?

Sapphire fans are complete shit.  All my cards are Sapphire and all of the fans have died in under a year using 100%.  Now I use 80% so we shall see.

The expected lifetime of any fan, regardless of the brand, is likely measured in months if it is continuously running at maximum speed.

I would agree with that if we're talking about stock fans.  But if you buy a quality fan, and properly maintain it, you're talking many years of good use so long as you don't end up with a lemon.  The amount of mass these computer fans have to throw around is relatively low which means less stress on those moving parts versus a larger fan.  And there are larger fans that have been around since the the 1920's. They don't make em' like they used to.

I've been running my 8 7950's at 100% for 12 months now and not a hiccup to be had. But as with any consumer product ever made, each individual card, even in the same series, is slightly different with varying weaknesses and strengths. Perhaps I've been lucky. It's incredibly simple to just buy a new fan if one were to burn out. You can even take the chance to upgrade to a more powerful fan if you want.

Which brand are your 7950 cards?

Sapphire 7950.  The 100352-4L model specifically.  I've had them overclocked since December with my core at 1050, my memory at 1700,and my voltage at 1068.  Out of 8 cards, only two dont like an overclock and I even run them at a slightly higher 1075 voltage.  Otherwise those two cards will crash my drivers for whatever reason.  It could be my drivers, but I haven't really cared about getting an extra 200 khs for the effort of troubleshooting past what I've already done.

How many shares you get per minute is going to be different depending on what coin is being mined.  A coin with a lower difficulty will net you more shares than a coin with higher difficulty.  So comparing pools with that stat is useless unless you can see definitively that both pools are mining the same coin.

Hey guys, love the service and appreciate the compensation.  But do you guys think you could just turn off your nobile site entirely or fix the menu on the mobile site.  I wanted to wait a bit to bring it back up but I use my mobile 90% of the time so its starting to become a pain to have to vies from a computer.  Changing the user agent in my mobile browser still brings up mobile version as well for some reason so there truly is no way for me to view anything other than the main page.  Thank you in advance.

I agree with the sentiments that people shouldn't be using this thread to moan. The pool, the pool users and the pool operators are recovering from a hack and theft and people moaning isn't doing a damn bit of good. You'll notice that most of the people moaning are not those that even had coins stolen, the people moaning are those that think their petty concerns are more important that those of everyone else -

"I can't log in!"  - No, you're simply a fuckwit who cannot or does not read what's been written for the last twenty pages.

"The functionality of the site isn't working!"  - Again, you either cannot or choose not to read and think that everyone should drop what they're doing to babysit you.

You clearly don't understand the importance of feedback for debugging.  Also, there was nothing I could find that said that Logging in wouldn't work AFTER we had been given the all clear that all functionality was restored sans payout.  I wasn't bitching.  Its called feedback.  People like you who put themselves on pedestals and think that personal attacks and namecalling and doing so in a condescending manner somehow makes them superior.  I laugh and mourn for these people. So no, I am not a "fucktwit" as you so elegantly put it.  Be an adult bloke.

"Login" isn't working for me currently.  I've tried with IE, Firefox, and Chrome and its a no go so far.  Is this normal for now or should I be able to log in?  Also, the menu on your mobile site isn't opening when pressed so you can't navigate away from the home page.  Not a pressing issue obviously, just thought I'd let you know.

Alt coins have kept my GPU's relevant.  Mostly LTC.  I think their speed offers a better way to move money/coins.  It only take 20-30 minutes for my LTC to get around, but my BTC takes a solid hour or longer for 6 confirmations.  Other than speed though,  BTC has the obvious edge.

I'd be satisfied with a consistent  +/-$20 at around the $300 mark.
