I downloaded a new version of the wallet but it is not synchronized. writes that the source blocks are unavailable. What to do?
Hi Oleg, what you should do is close your wallet and head over to your appdata/roaming/phore folder (%appdata%/Phore) and delete the folders called blocks, chainstate and sporks. Then open your wallet again and the sync should resume. Your wallet/masternode should load the snapshot database and continue syncing the blockchain from that point forward." Resetting the peers list could also help, maybe someone can get this guy a new list of peers to connect to. Yes, the peers list can be found in the Phore explorer under the Network tab. Hi!
I'm having problems with PHR wallet in Windows 10 (virtualized over VirtualBox). When wallet loads, the icon on the taskbar appears, but the wallet itself is not "painted" on the screen. I can click on the taskbar Phore icon, but nothing happens over the desktop. I've tried with several wallet versions, even with Win64 and Win32 ones, and the problem persists.
I have other wallets running without problems on that virtualized machine, only Phore has this problem.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Can anyone help, please?

Hi ralt, apparently this is a problem that is specific to the Windows 10 version, and which happens not only for Phore but for several other applications. The most common cause is the use of a multi monitor setup, or a shared monitor software. If you are using such a solution, please try to disable it to see if your issue is resolved. No multi monitor setup nor shared monitor software  It's a Windows 10 inside VirtualBox... Hmm.. Did you try to maximize the app through the Task Manager? To open the task manager press Ctrl+Shift+Escape, then find the Phore Core app and click maximize/bring to forefront It worked! Thanks a lot!!  Great! You're welcome |

Are there something happened behind the scene recent months?
The ANN topic of PHORE project looks like a bit boring, silently.
In my opinion, the team should keep it as active as possible and should release more regularly communication threads with community.

I think it works the opposite of what you're thinking. The more masternodes there are on the Phore network, the larger staking ROI becomes, because every masternode takes 10,000 PHR away from the potential staking pool. They each have a fixed, separate pool of rewards, so if half of Phore is locked in masternodes as collateral, that means at most only half of the remaining supply of Phore could be staked, and that's before taking out any Phore in exchange wallets or other cold wallets that are not being staked.
Observationally, given the way the Phore masternode population has been growing, I think the Phore staking ROI has increased and is approaching masternode ROI.
You might be wrong! More active masternodes, less rewards for each one. And, of course, less rewards for each staker due to side-effects of more weights from masternodes. No that's not how it works, moonshot is Phore lead dev you can trust what he writes. There are two pools of PHR rewards (per block). One is for stakers and one is for masternodes. Stakers are in competition with other stakers, while masternodes are in competition with other masternodes. So when you write "less rewards for each staker due to side-effects of more weights from masternodes." well that's just not true. The only effects more masternodes coming online could have on stakers' rewards is locking away more of the available supply and therefore reducing the overall staking weight, which in the end means a higher ROI for all stakers (and a lower one for masternode owners). |

How many PHORE I need (minimum ones) to stake efficiently?
I wanna buy PHORE and start staking but I would like to know the minimum amount for staking before deciding to invest into PHORE.

Hey vandung, the ideal staking size seems to be around 1000 PHR at the moment. If you want to get 1 stake (2.8PHR) a day, then you need to stake around 3000 PHR. The annual ROI is ~38%. |

12,546,890 is the maximum supply of phore according to this announcement thread. where is the 13,019,299 PHR being shown on coinmarketcap since a few days ago coming from?
No this number is not the max supply but the current supply at the time the thread was created. The current supply can be viewed in the explorer under "Outstanding" here : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/phr/The supply is increasing with every block because new Phore are created to reward masternode holders and stakers. So there is a slow inflation, the inflation rate is getting slower and slower as time passes. right now it's very unstable and you might get a problem like mine.
it has been 1 week and my withdrawal has not been confirmed yet or at 'processing' stage for no reason.
i think we should increase our activity on cryptobridge or other exchanges at this moment,because it's not safe to trade our coin on cryptopia.nz

I second this, Cryptopia sometimes has issues/delays, while CryptoBridge has been working flawlessly for me everytime, and I use it a lot to trade Alqo. Besides it's a DEX so it's trustless, I believe people will start using DEXs more and more in the coming months. Even Binance is planning an upgrade to bo DEX based. |

If the total active PHORE masternodes won't increase significant in the near future, PHORE MN investors will get their money back after 30 months (might be a bit faster or lower). https://masternodes.online/currencies/PHR/Personally, this is long waiting time to get capital investment back. 30 months mean more than 2 years and a half. That's only true if the price of Phore remains the same. And Phore has a ton of upward potential. |

The new ANN looks great ! Your announcement states the block reward is 8 PHR. Per the white paper, stakers share 2.8 PHR while the masternodes share 4.2 PHR. That is only 7 PHR. Where is the other PHR?
Hey sjyi. The other PHR goes to the dev budget. That's 1 PHR every block. With the max token of 12,546,890 at 1 minute block time, all the possible tokens would be created in less than 3 years (12,456,890 / 8 PHR/block / 60 min/hr / 24 hr/day / 365 days/year = 2.96 years). What happens after 3 years?
Phore's max supply is infinite. But the inflation rate gets lower and lower as time passes. With your current level of master nodes of 450 (or 4.5 million PHR), 4.2 PHR is shared every 60 seconds.
For an investment of 10,000 PHR, the ROI would be about 49% annually. Of course that would change as more masternodes are added.
Given your token in circulation is already at greater than 5 million, the remaining time to reach the maximum amount of less than 2 years.
How would the masternodes and stakers be rewarded?
