In this case, I would recommend that you keep it until the market recovers, after which you will probably be able to fix profits!
You probably won't believe me, but I have no job and I'm trying to survive with 0.1 btc, while making gains here and there overtrading, and mining 0.02 monthly. Living on edge every day is very difficult. Sometimes I get small donations, but that is very rare ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

the bear trend stopped. Bull run and HODL.
No it hasn't.

They don't control the market, they control YOU! ha ha! As soon as they dump their profited bitcoins and YOU started to sell in panic, that is where the magic happens.
Exactly!! ....He boukht? Domp eet!

What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.
Bear market happening. Deep correction. consequences of 2017 bubble. What should I do now? I am very worry about it.
Hodl or accumulate more (sell high, buy back lower). You're not losing anything unless you sell with a loss.

Guys, i lost half btc in some circumstance and rest of my altcoin in also down position so in that moment what should i do? give me your suggestion.
1. Deal with it. Whatever happened happened. 2. Don't panic. This is not the end of the world. 3. Wait for BTC to go up, wait for your alts to copy their God) Exit with profit.

Hi everyone, I wanna ask all of traders, actually analysis the chart help you in trading? Or does the transaction depend on other factors as well? Thank you.
Of course it does. I'm blind without chart, how can you not rely on chart or TA? That's just coin-tossing and stupid; a guaranteed loss.

Let's see what's going to happen at the end of the year.
Probably nothing much until BTC gets above 200 day moving. Won't be easy.

I think it's at the bottom now, so the bull market is coming. People don't always believe that the bull market has come, and more and more financial institutions are paying attention to the changes of the market.
Looks like the bottom, but I don't think it is. Also we got a bear cross on weekly and we're still in a death cross on daily. Well, if the bull market has come, this will be the weakest we've seen so far. More like, castrated bull market oh and, Nobuaki Kobayashi/Mt.Gox will start unloading in September. Don't forget about that one)

Do not panic. this is bull trap. short time increment of alt and bitcoin. please be alert to invest. suddenly the market can goes to deep red again. because the red dip still not over
= end of July most probably this dip period may be over
= most are predicting 5000$ is bitcoin lower so ready for it.
=accumulation period also now
=for day buy back traders face good.
Not a bull trap. But after 7100 expect a drop, yeah. What pisses me off the most is stupid low volatility, I hate it. I can't make money, and its so easy to lose (on fees and stuff), $50 range and spread games..to hell with that!!

I wish it was ASIC resistant ,
So in other words you want the network to be as inefficient and as slow as possible? Logic? Why not say: I want it to be asic resistant so that my shit cpu could find a block with high reward every now and then, so I could make a quick $$$ by dumping mined coins on some exchange?

As you can see, 1060s are obeying clock/power limit, but 1080 does not, leading to regular crashes of this card.
Well I do not influence the clocks of your card at all - I just run a program there, but do not set any clocks or fan speeds nor voltages - nothing. lolMiner does not even read this values, because in OpenCL standard its not designated to do so. So if your card is not following your power target setting, this is an driver / overclocking tool or cards bios bug, but non of the miner, since it just takes no influence in that. Okay.. then why this wasn't an issue with lolminer v0.2x. 1080 at these same clocks was hashing at 12-13ksol max, but 0.3x always at 15 (only for this one card/1080). the hardware and os are the same, I only updated the miner. Could this be that lolminer is only showing 15Ksol, but the actual hashrate is lower? Driver Version: 390.25 Linux ****** 4.8.17-ethos49 #6 SMP Tue Aug 29 23:24:18 CDT 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

My cards running at stock clocks (or close to stock) card 1 is EVGA GTX1080 SC (gddr5x)/180w plimit, the other 5 are GIGABYTE GTX1060 6GB G1 Gaming (gddr5)/120w plimit 0, 2018/03/16 23:28:17.998, 114.26 W, 1771 MHz, 3802 MHz, 1771 MHz 1, 2018/03/16 23:28:18.002, 152.82 W, 1759 MHz, 4353 MHz, 1759 MHz 2, 2018/03/16 23:28:18.007, 105.52 W, 1771 MHz, 3802 MHz, 1771 MHz 3, 2018/03/16 23:28:18.012, 105.22 W, 1771 MHz, 3802 MHz, 1771 MHz 4, 2018/03/16 23:28:18.017, 109.44 W, 1746 MHz, 3802 MHz, 1746 MHz 5, 2018/03/16 23:28:18.027, 105.53 W, 1771 MHz, 3802 MHz, 1771 MHz
As you can see, 1060s obeys clock/power limit setting, but 1080 isn't (lolminer only), leading to regular crashes of this card. 23:30:28 Average speed (60s): 15400.6 sol/s | 10537 sol/s | 10426.1 sol/s | 10307 sol/s | 10182.4 sol/s | 10298.4 sol/s Total: 67151.5 sol/s
No matter what clocks I apply, lolMiner rides 1080 at max clocks. Please look into it and fix that asap. Thanks in advance.

In the github directory, I read : Features
Supports:
Linux 64bit only. AMD GCN cards. NVidia (equihash192_7 and equihash96_5 only).
Then, no ZCash for nVidia GPUs (equihash200_9)... Are the github informations out of date ? really? oh, my bad then:-(
|
|
|
Why this miner is not compatible with Zcash and clone equihash version for nVidias GPU ?
oh but it is. just change the algorithm, for Zcash/BTG/Komodo/Hush it's equihash200_9, for Zerocoin it's equihash192_7, and MineX is equihash96_5. to whoever sent me mnx donation: Thank you very much, man! It's very generous of you! I really appreciate it. Thanks.

pmf026, this is fantastic! Thanks so much.
As a non-programmer trying to learn ethOS, this is a huge help.
Going from 4Ksol/s with my 6 1070's to 47KSol/s with my 7 480's is a huge leap. Getting about 6.7KSol/s per card.
Please post your MNX address.
Thanks again, Mike
Glad to help. =)

Can anyone let me know how to install the miner to ethos?
Ive spent most of the day fiddling around with this board that doesnt want to boot linux thay boots ethos fine...
Thanks, i appreciate any help! Haven't found any ressources online as to how to change miners in ethos:/
how to install optiminer 2.0.0 in EthOS: first stop all miners and prevent their autostart: minestop && disallow copy & paste the following code into command prompt and hit enter (don't worry it will backup the older version installed); wait a moment for it to complete. cd /opt/miners && / tar czvf optiminer-zcash-v1.7.0.tar.gz /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash && / rm -r /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash && / wget https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerEquihash/raw/master/optiminer-equihash-2.0.0.tar.gz && tar xfvz /opt/miners/optiminer-equihash-2.0.0.tar.gz -C /opt/miners && / mv /opt/miners/optiminer-equihash /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash && mv /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash/optiminer-equihash /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash/optiminer-zcash && / chmod +x /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash/optiminer-zcash && chmod +x /opt/miners/optiminer-zcash/*.sh && / rm /opt/miners/optiminer-equihash-2.0.0.tar.gz && cd /home/ethos
now you'll need to edit your local.conf (/home/ethos/local.conf); if you have multiple miners defined in there, it should look like this: globalminer optiminer-zcash
optiminer-zcash=proxywallet <wallet>.<worker> optiminer-zcash=proxypool1 eu.minexpool.nl:3333 optiminer-zcash=poolpass1 x optiminer-zcash=flags -a equihash96_5 --pci-mode 0 -i 192
replace <wallet> with your minexcoin address and <worker> with your worker name, save and exit. Re-enable autostart of your miner by issuing 'allow' command That's it.
