1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] RaveOS - Optimize your cryptomining business now! on: January 27, 2021, 05:04:22 PM
Hello everybody, is this thread active?

I'm having some troubles I believe, I've started using RaveOS this week and it's awesome. It recognized my cards and I started mining using lolminer 1.20...

The thing is that I have 12 almost obsolete cards for mining, AMD RX570 4GB... They're on two separated rigs, they work just fine, but the hashrate is very, very low... They get to work at 13Mh/s each, tops, and I'm not sure if that's all they can handle now because of the DAG size or is it something with the miner and I should try another one... What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Hello! A few, maybe two weeks ago (I haven't been able to keep up with the time to fix this) my miner dropped its hashrate considerably from around 100Mh/s to 2.3Mh/s... At first I thought that could have been caused by a necessary driver update but I just did it and the problem remains the same. Then I uploaded the miner from 0.7.17 to 0.7.22 and tried with .21 aswell...

Does anybody could know what could be the problem I'm having? Thanks in advance.

My rig:
6 AMD RX570 4GB (one of them fails after some minutes mining, so I just use 5)
Radeon Software Adrenalin (Latest december 8th update)
Win 10 Pro x64
I use ethermine pool

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
teamredminer.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us1.ethermine.org:4444 -u walletaddress.wname -p x --restart_gpus --uac --eth_alloc_epoch=374 --eth_4g_max_alloc=374 -d 1,2,3,4,5

I tried adding --enable_compute aswell...

Thank you guys, I did contact ethpool a few days ago and all thei said was "add -allpools 1" to the bat file and that should do it... I said that was already on my bat file (because it was) and then they said "use another program"  Embarrassed

Even though it says that the pool closed connection remotely, I guess it could still be due to networking problems on your side? Can you check your network, whether the adapter in the rig works ok, the cable is alright and the router is functioning correctly?

This is also a valid question to the pool support. Run the miners with logging enabled and then contact the pool and send them relevant parts from those logs, asking why this could be happening. Maybe there's something in your miner's configuration that the pools don't like.

I double checked the cable and the router twice, I even have a second miner on the same network and it doesn't have the same problem.
I don't know if maybe the ethernet port came defective

The cmdline you use to start your miner would help to see if there is any odd parameter.

Are you sure also that you execute the miner as admin ?

Check also if the process hasn't been locked out by Windows Defender.

I disabled the Windows Defender

My cmdline is
set executable=EthDcrMiner64.exe
set commandline=-epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal myewal.rigname/myemail -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10 -dcri 9

@heavyarms1912 helped me on that one.

Right now I'm not dual mining until I solve that problem and I'm only using one GPU

I think I will reset the MoBo BIOS, reinstall Windows and start over again.

Hello, I know this topic may look redundant but it isn't.

I've tried all the solutions people have posted at their threads but I can't solve mine.

I've tried using nanopool, ethermine, ethpool with all their servers and I'm getting the same error.

My SW:
Windows 10 Pro x64 v.1703
Claymore's dual miner
AMD's latest Crimsom ReLive Blockchain Driver
MSI Afterburner 4.4

My HW:
MB: BTC250 Pro
CPU: Intel Core I3 - 7100 3.90 GHz
GPU: AMD RX 570 Gaming
RAM: 8GB DDR4
SSD: 60 GB
PSU: Silverstone ST1500W

I've disabled the Windows Firewall, I need help, I don't know what am I doing wrong.

Hello everyone, I'm having problems setting up a 12 GPU mining rig (6 AMD RX570 + 6 NVIDIA 1060) with Windows 10.

Is there anyone available for some guidance?
I'd be happy to collaborate with some ether as soon as I get paid.

Motherboard: Biostar BTC 250 Pro
PSUs: 2 Silverstone Tek 1500W
12 mintcell PCIe Risers
Windows 10 Pro x64

I'm trying to overclock the RX570 with MSI Afterburner and i'm not having positive results, each one mines at 20 MH/s

If I run an instance of Claymore with only the NVIDIA (or both AMD+NVIDIA with no overclocked settings) the OS crashes

The problem could be caused by the PSUs?

Besides, I get the error "Socket was closed remotely (by pool)" using ethermine pool. I tried with all of them servers and I get the same error

Two instances of Claymore

One .bat file would include "-platform 1" and the other would include "-platform 2" right?
