I'll give you 20BTC if you are selling it for that.

Hmm nowhere near enough to cover my costs. Seems to be more demand on ebay so I will post on ebay and see how I go. Well, your costs were $1300 each (exchange rate was nearly 1-1 a year ago), so I don't know if it's nowhere near what you payed. Ebay has one inherent problem, someone can return you your miner in a month - when it's worth well below $100. $2200 for a pair would be my best offer, since I even might end up loosing money at that price, but it's your call.

Hi,
I can offer you 10 BTC each. I'm going to Sydney on Sunday, so let me know if you decide to sell by then.
Cheers

I can see that, but I didn't post my message in the last minute because seller did that. I clicked post message within the original time limit and when a seller updated the thread, it suggested I should read new messages in the thread before posting mine.
There were 30 minutes between your post and the last valid bid, so dont say you werent sniping... I'm essentially being punished because I was reading an update from the seller saying there was still a minute! I wasn't even sniping, just reading the information provided (1 minute remaining!), and my bid was still within the minute as specified by the seller.
You should work on your English because he didnt say that. He said new bids would have 1 min to be outbid by even new bids. You really think it's fare?!
Yes, i think its fair. I came online 4 minutes before I posted it, so I wasn't sniping because it can be easily proven that I was having dinner and just came back. There are also stats showing when I came online, so I will say it, because it's a fact. I suggest you work on your advice giving skills, because "1 minute remaining" says exactly that

the seller only wanted to "update" his thread, to show highest bid and to lower this "sniper protection". The title says 24hours and not number of seconds, and seller was acting as a counter this whole time. I could've posted my bid a minute sooner, but his message pooped up saying that there still was another minute...
There is no point to place your bid in the last second when the deadline gets extended. So I think its just fair that you lost. Im sorry for you, but the rules were clear. I think that the bid counts because the seller indicated there was a minute left!

How come? You said one minute, and my post is within that minute.

Nope, it's with in one minute of the one minute count by the seller

Please let me post in other threads. I've been GPU mining since February and reading this forum occasionally for a few months. I know enough about BTC and forum rules to get me started, and I really want to bid on a marketplace auction ending soon.

That's exactly what I was about to ask! Great.

Consider you data center hosting options. It seems like it wouldn't be worth buying and hosting hardware in your case.

The best time to buy smt if when it's cheap. So best time is going back in time and getting it for $2 a piece. If you can't do that, at least wait till the price drops below $100.

I actually think that many Alt coins are here to stay. LTC is mined a lot, and they say that even Mtgox might start accepting it. With ASIC being released a lot of GPU miner will move to Alt coin mining as long as it remains profitable.
