1  Economy / Trading Discussion / trade engine lag/downtime comparison - MtGox - BTCe - BitStamp - BTCChina on: December 08, 2013, 02:49:18 AM
As you know we have been experiencing serious problems in trade engines of the exchanges.
Our order do not get through because of this lag and this causes serious loss or prevents possible earnings.

I wanted to open this topic so that we can share our experiences with each other for the following exchanges:
- MtGox
- BTCe
- BitStamp
- BTCChina
- Other platforms like Avatrade & Plus500

Goal is to choose the winner exchange which has less lag/downtime and the most healthy back-end/infrastructure so that we can do healthy trading by placing our orders without delays/problems.

I'll be glad if you can share your experiences.
Also it might be very useful to others if you have another exchange to recommend.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Qt Bitcoin Trader [Open Source trading client for Mac/Windows/Linux] on: November 18, 2013, 11:46:41 PM
feature request:

It's not possible to set trailing stops in the rules.
That would be a great feature and I think it's also mandatory.

Thanks.

I am not sure if this is related to QT Bitcoin Trader but I just created a profile for btcchina and in the fee area I see 0.60. Shouldn't that be zero?

It's great to see that you are working on such a tool.

There are many discussions about bots, strategies, etc... but they are all useless if we don't have proper data in our hand to backtest with.
I believe your tool is going to help a lot of people.

I would like to help since you say that you can't commit too many hours but unfortunately I'm not a developer but I can help with the GUI if you want to make usable and it look nice.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Im not sure if this newbie can't post rule is ok or not. on: August 27, 2013, 06:19:24 PM
I have been on this forum as a reader for months now.
I wanted to post before but I couldn't. I didn't have much time and din't care that much so didn't looked in to the reason.

Now I want to post again and found out that I need to post at least one message here in order to post on the other sections.

Im sure this has some sort of positive aspect but it also kept me as a reader for a long time instead of a contributor.

So I need to post a topic now, and I thought this might be a good topic.

So here is my first post & now I need to wait for 4 hours.
I'll be glad if no one replies to this.
