1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: May 07, 2018, 12:54:41 PM
Hello guys,

am i the only one who has problems with Kucoin?

With the Kucoin API Keys, cointracking says that it's importing the trades, but it imports nothing at the end, 0 operations.

So i tried with the CSV,  but i get this error once i upload my CSV:

Error: We couldn't find a timestamp. This trade will not be imported

How can i solve? I am trading a lot on Kucoin lately, cointracking without Kucoin it's useless for me

THank you in advance for the reply

Just to know, what do you think about forex? is that market similar to crytpcurrency??

i'm wondering what capitals you need to live just with forex, i seen that the average volatility of forex is about 1/3% daily, so, i guess you have a  biiiiig amount of money for live with forex....

i'm a nOOb in trading, just asking Smiley

This volatility in cryptocurrency is a mine of gold, how long did you think that this funny games will continue to be like that?

In Forex trading you can use the leverage, so you can turn a +0.5% into a +50%. Of course you can also turn a -0.5% into a -50% Wink
You control the risk/opportunity, you set your potential risk and your potential profit. It is the same for crypto.
People usually say "I don't invest in bitcoin/crypto because it is a very risky investment". That's a stupid thing to say about investments. If you have $10,000 to invest, no one is telling you to buy $10,000 worth of bitcoin. You can invest $100 in bitcoin and you are risking only 1% of your total asset.
Again, you are in control of the risk.
I think that Forex market is very different from cryptocurrency and I prefer Forex for 3 main reasons:

1. Brokers are regulated (at least if you know what to choose). They are regulated by national institutes and in most cases you get back up to $50,000 in case of bankruptcy. I use bittrex for crypto, but when I opened an account with them, the only thing about regulation that they had on the contract was: "Bittrex is based in the United States and our Services are subject to U.S. law." I might not be an expert about cryptocurrency, but it looks obvious that your money is not safe on these exchanges.

2. Technical analysis makes more sense in Forex trading. Technical analysis is used to understand where supply and demand are addressed, in order to try to catch the next price movements. In crypto world, it seems that the price is only driven by fast speculation. It's hard to find an uptrend that lasts for weeks or months (excluding bitcoin).

3. Fees are much lower.

Yes, but you risk a lot, that risk that i avoid while using  a strategy based on support/resistance and a Hedgind Strategies (Averaging down dollar cost), i draw support and resistance, then i plan that the stock could reach the point 0, i will plan the amount of BTC needed for reach point 0, and then, at every support resistance i double/triple up my initial position in a way that i can use the cryptocurrency volatility for making money, this strategies has avoid me losses in the last 2 months, maybe not the most profitable strategy, because i ever start with 0.001 BTC for each position, but, sometimes, doubling up at every support, i get some trades with 0.2+ btc from the starts of 0.001...anyway  i sell in profit 99% of the times without being a bag holders.

A strategy like that for averaging down the dollar costs and use that volatility for makes lots of profit and avoid the loss by averaging down is not possible in forex, it's more like a gamble, than, i also saw that in forex the minimum amount of money that u could invest is 100$, so, starting a position with 100$ and maybe averaging down x4/x5 times could be stressful... can you give me some advice about that strategy?? do you think that it could work also in forex market?? could i use leverage while averaging down?

There is no need to worry about that ,  bitcoin has been hitted by a lot of governments and a lot of banks, and it hasnt dropped yet. Just look at the charts, everytime that there is a new dump, the price will recover as soon as possible, just like it did a few days ago.
I dont care about that, because we all know that bitcoin is prepared for those kind of scenarios and we all are going to pass through that situation, so i am not worried about that.
But regulations might come in a near future, it is just matter of time until the governments decides to stop bitcoin.

I posted this question because i want that this high volatility will continue because it's HIIIIIGHLY profitable, expecially volatility of Altcoin that are making me lots of money....

Just let some FUDs come, so we have enough times to accumulate other Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency Cheesy

Hello guys,

I'm wondering what will happens when big investors or governaments will enter into bitcoin or cryptocurrency,,,

For sure, now this market is highly volatile with heavy daily/weekly fluctuations. What do you think that will happens when big amounts of $ will enter in this markets?

We will see a stock market 2.0 with 1/3 % daily fluctuations daily?? we can say goodbye to big profits?

I'd like to know your predictions about the future, about the volatiity of the market and everything that will happens

I'm creating my future based on cryptocurrency, i'd love if i can have this volatility for almost 1/2 years, this market is making me tons of money by daily trading.

What time frames did you expect before that this will happens?? Do you think that will could be a market similar to the actual penny stocks market but for cryptocurrency, where we can trade high volatility coins??

What will happens to ICO?? and the fees will remain the same for trading??

Thank you in advice for your reply.

Hi guys,

I'm a crypto lover, i'm trading in this world that's amazing!

My question is: What will happens when Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency will become mainstream??

As now, this market is a mine of gold, with that volatility, if you are able to use it at your  own advantages, it's highly profitable, now, when governs will regulament Bitcoin and it will become much more popular,  what do you think that will happens?

Doing trading in cryptocurrency market will be as profitable as now?? there will be anyway the opportunities to make good gains or this market will become as Forex with a 1/3 % daily fluctuations??

In your opinion, the fees will be the same as now for trade? and, there will be a similar "OTC Penny stock" but for crypto?? maybe the crypto with low mcap could be a lot profitable, there will be possibilities to buy crypto with an high % profit potential as now on etherdelta or in minor exchange??

What about ICO?

And in your opinion, what time frame we could expect before that will happens?? how much times we have to gain as much money as possible??

I hope that this market will continue like this for almost 1/2 years, no one can say it with precision, but your hopinion is highly appreciated Cheesy

Thank you in advice
