I think the possibility of this happening is high because Bitcoin doesn't rely on banks during their transactions plus they are independent with the market prices.

Yes, things come to end eventually, especially since Bitcoin is only virtual. Sooner or later, all countries will ban it and it will depreciate and disappear just like that.

It is not supported in certain countries simply due to the fact that the government cannot interfere with this However, the ban will not really be effective since usage of bitcoin entails anonymity.

A perk about bitcoin is that the way things work are less complicated and they are decentralized. Unlike banks, there are no charges or fees that will flood your bills even before you realize it.

Recently john McAfee has stated that he predicts that a bitcoin would go an be valued 1 million us dollars by the year 2020. Although unlike to happen he probably said so in order to make more people invest in bitcoins to make sure that bitcoins won't loose value in the future.
