Can someone help me: i have an Stratis.dat file. How can i put this in a wallet on a different computer? Thank you in advance!

I have an .dat file from Stratis. And i want to open this wallet on a new computer. Can anyone explain how to do that? The wallet is completly sinc. And i removed the .dat file and put there the old .dat file. But it doesn`t work.

Thanks for you blog. I bought a small amount of Stratis in the beginning of November and I am a big fan of this platform. That`s why I bought some more in the end of november and december. I`m from Holland and ì`ve read the article from RTLZ! Nice to read that you also have heard about the article! I`m curious what will happen with Stratis this year! |

why is that Dumpprivkey is not working in latest QT ?? I have unlocked the wallet .. but still error :

Wallet is unlocked for minting only. (code -13)
I've had the same problem. It means that your wallet is encrypted. You need to download the windows wallet, then put in your private key. After that you encrypte your wallet with an password. |

ok cool...
the wallet.dat is the file. (if your sure) u can delete that.
then start the wallet.
then you can import your coin into it.
dont put the pw on it yet.
thats the part that screws you up.
(or you can get the coinomi wallet, for android/etc)
or another type of wallet. coinomi uses a seed words...
etc.
just dont move fast. thats the thing.

I still get the same message. Do you know at which page the answer from dev is? I Think i need to reinstall the windows wallet?! |

Thank you for you help! I will try it tomorrow! And just in case off, i put the .dat file on a usb stick. You never know! And i've also tried to download the android app, but my phone can't download it. |

if you dont have anything on that wallet..... you could just delete it  lol and dont lock the new one, until you know how to unlock it I have nothing on that wallet. My coins are still in my paper wallet. So i need to delete my windows wallet, download it again, put my private key in the debug window. And then put a password on it? |

that means you Encrypted your wallet. You must Deccrypt it to send etc. i forget the commands...but when the Dev responded to you a few posts back.... he gave you directions. just follow them. I've looked at al the posts, but i couldn't find his respond. I will take a look again. I've had a long day! maybe it was a response to someone else, asking similar question.. (seems the same questions are asked over and over lol) importprivkey privkeygoeshere to add coins from a paper wallet. antoher command, simiilar and you can unlock it...i have to find it.... (i did a search for privkey and the above showed up) the other is... something like -unlock or...but i think ill search ... Thanks for helping! I'm also searching for the answer! |

Now i get the message: Wallet is unlocked for minting only. in de debug window. Does anyone know what that means? Thank you!
means you locked your wallet. Thank you for your answer! But I thought my wallet was still closed at that moment. Maybe i need to pit my secret key first, and then fill in my password? |

No offense to the guy trying to help, but I wouldn't connect to something without the team themselves telling you what to do. Again no offense, just better safe than sorry You are totally right! |
