1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which next coin is going to take the next jump? on: December 21, 2017, 04:06:25 PM
Verge (XVG) and Tron (TRX) seem the strongest now.

Totally agree on those two! XRP is having a day today (have a small bag for those coins) but looking at XVG and TRX
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where are we in the bubble on: December 19, 2017, 07:21:55 PM
I am completely new to crypto (I poked at it a bit in 2010 but unfortunately didn't think it was going anywhere - shows you how much I know!)

I think we are going to have a big year in 2018 - My partner and I started mining in November and we are running a masternode and I'm still very new to all of this BUT it feels like we have another year or so (save for some corrections) before this stabilizes or pops as the case may be. It isn't the very very beginning. There is more talk in the mainstream - my 33 yo son asked ME (his 54yo mother) about crypto the other day! I've had conversations with Lyft drivers half my age that are really interested in how it all works.

I think if you get in now you are in good shape.. as the mainstream is flooding in this coming year (at least that is my guess based on the amount of questions I'm getting lately about cryptocurrency and blockchain)
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 19, 2017, 05:53:32 AM
$xrp is definitely a coin to watch https://www.investopedia.com/news/ripple-briefly-topped-bitcoin-cash-be-3rd-largest-cryptocurrency/

Let's hope it continues it's upturn even if there are some dips in the next few months.

I hope $xrp is added to Coinbase soon they have been talking about it for a couple weeks now!

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find out latest topic on this forum on: December 10, 2017, 03:35:44 AM
There are two ways:

At the top left there is the "Show unread posts since last visit" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=unread and it takes you to the unread posts screen.

Alternatively, you can go to a forum/subforum and click the "notify" link - If you have setup email notifications, you will receive email if someone posts a new thread/post.

Thank you for this - I had the same question!

Yes this project is still alive. @Elypse_Pink on Twitter has been really helpful in answering questions I have had. I'm staking Pink now. Thanks for the heads up on Telegram contact _ I'm just starting to use Telegram.

Is this a complaint or advertisement?  Wrong forum, regardless

observation mainly - not a complaint per se - can't delete our own posts so I guess I'll sit here and feel silly for posting in the wrong topic.

They are powerful buggers but we are finding that they run really hot vs EVGA, MSI and others. Do you still use them in your rigs powered down or have you come up with other solution to solve the overheating? It actually took us a couple weeks to stabilize the rig - now running solid and using Awesome Miner (mining $zen at the moment)
