Guys, hello!

Right now I am developing a community of those who want to educate themselves about trading/mining/other profits of blockchain and crypto world. We are collecting questions about crypto that people want to be answered and we need your help. Let me shortly introduce myself.

I have started to explore crypto last June. My first step was buying cryptocurrency. I was pretty lucky and picked Ethereum, then I invested some money in my first ICO. This experience showed that my knowledge (an almost completed degree in Finance) does not really work much in the world of ICOs.

I realized that my field of interest was long-term investing into well-known coins with further potential to grow 5-10 times on the horizon of 1 year (that was in late August). At the same moment, I found out about Bitcointalk and started to develop my account there in order to participate in bounty campaigns of ICOs. After some time, I realized that the forum was filled with messages that did not make any real sense. People were just posting messages to satisfy conditions of ICOs’ bounty campaigns they were part of. I suppose this was a big problem of Bitcointalk (although I still like it).
 
Luckily, I found guys who were developing a forum of moderated answers for questions over crypto. Their idea of looking for answers made by professionals to user-made questions seemed obvious and necessary. I decided to help them and became a moderator of Profits section (as this also allowed me to expand my personal knowledge of the topic).

We are now doing a 10 000 Question Challenge to give concrete structured answers (made by experts) for all important questions about world of crypto (more here https://hackernoon.com/the-10-000-question-challenge-your-blockchain-journey-starts-here-98829f6b3cbc). The exact number is inspired by the idea of necessity of doing something 10 000 hours to become a master. Right now we need questions to start filling our section of Profits (https://howtotoken.com/question/category/profits-trading-ico-mining/). I will be happy if you share your questions and start (or maybe continue) exploring world of crypto with me.

How should these questions look like? It is totally up to you, here are several examples.
—What is more profitable: buying tokens of ICOs during ICO or after exchange entrance?
— Prices of cryptocurrencies are dropping so fastly and deely. What should I do?
— What are some good cryptocurrencies trading under 1 cent?

My bet is long term. In order to be good at short term investing you necessary have to follow all trading rules and be totally stressless. Choosing projects strategically is just easier for me.

Of course, the first reason is the acceptance by Japan in spring 2017. However, this is not the only reason. BTC really develops and solves it's problems (lightning and speed of transactions as example) and this is why inestors believe in this coin.

Surely! Eth is a project that differs a lot from pure payment systems: it builds strong infrastructure around itself that allows to make applications on blockchain. There is no project like eth (even with all its problems) that has established such a strong community of supporters both in crypto and corporate world.

I totally agree that patience is one of the best friends of investors in crypto market. Volatility sometimes ruins dreams of fast large profits but we should always think strategically. If you have a well-devirsified portfolio with alts with high potential in then just with and you will be rewarded!

I think this is a very plausible idea. Btcis just a means of payment while ethereum provides developers with huge infrastracture to develop better and better applications. The more popular apps there will be the higher will be the price of eth.

Эфир надо брать. Ходил в последнее время на конференции - и эфир один из тех проектов, который выигрывает именно по продукту. Нету пока в отрасли более интересных решений, чем смарт-контракты на любые по сути активы.

Ну что, утренний рост предвестник нового похода вверх? Ждем опять биток по 20 Пора делать иксы и тем, кто заходил на хаях в эту отрасль!

ну что, вейвс пора начинать подрастать за рынком) не очень понимаю, почему, но вейвс всегда как будто слабее рынка. Если падение - то волны летят в первых рядах, если рост - то немного отстают. Вот сейчас за 24 часа всякие троны и нео выросли на 20%, волны на 15. Кто знает, с чем такая динамика связана? Вроде новостной фон одинаковый.

Вот теперь рынок начал восстанавливаться и привлекательность альтов возросла. Я бы сказал, что трон хорош. Им главное побольше прав получить на контент и с популярными платформами начать сотрудничать.

Вообще с введением новых правил на форуме пользователям с более-менее сильными акками должно стать полегче в плане заработка на баунти. Вопрос в том, когда цены подстроятся по изменившиеся правила.

Если это скам, то рынок впадет в глубокую рецессию. По сути, usdt сейчас основной шлюз, который в конечном счете выводит поток в фиат. Если окажется, что это скам, то эффект будет аналогичный разрыву артерии у человека. Завершение отношений с аудитором не добавляет позитива.

В такие дни, как сегодня, ответ, к сожалению - нет. Весь рынок пока что слишком уже чувствителен к новостному фону. Надо, чтобы проекты шли в разные направления, уменьшалась корреляция между ценами. Тогда у крипты будет шанс заместить обычные деньги.

Судя по MACD с 9 днями как период биток еще будет падать примерно до уровня 7300-7400. Кстати, для того, чтобы быстро извлекать аналитику подобную, можно использовать сайт tradingview, очень удобный.

On days like today the answer become clearer: you should choose trading ONLY if you have proper competence. Imagine you just follow the market and have bought btc at the level 20k$... If you want your crypto asset to grow anf don't want to take extra risk just take part in bounties

Вообще тема сейчас имеет среднюю аткуальность. все-таки альты чувствуют себя хорошо, когда основные валюты более-менее спокойны и новостной фон хороший. А он сейчас совсем не хороший. Так что прямо сейчас я бы воздержался от входа в новые альты.

Hmm, today definetly gold! But in general I still consider BTC as a stronger asset. Yes, volatility is extraordinary high but it is a fair fee for high rates of return.

Такая просадка - нормальный процесс. Слишком много хайпа вокруг индустрии было в конце 2017. Вот и сбивается спесь супер инвесторов. Индийские законы, азиатский новый год, негативные комментарии от институтов - и пожалуйста.
