Thx now it is clear.

Is there an estimation how many coins do you need for staking? I mean with 100 coins it is really unlikely that you ever get a staking reward. But how can I calculate the probability of getting a staking reward in the next week, month or year?

Here's a pos calc http://crofly.bplaced.net/ you can get here via the resources tab on the site https://trezarcoin.com/

Very nice, just one question how to find out/verify actual "POS difficulty"?

Marks me 36 inputs for 3040 coin day ...

3k coin day is very low. I'm guessing that you actually have around 1-2k coins or less. With that amount it is highly unlikely that you will get anything.

I only have 200 coins...How much do you need to undermine something in POS?

From what I've been reading on this thread during last week or two - 30k coins is ok 10k coins not so much.

Then practically it is impossible with 200 coins only... should write it

Do you understand what "highly unlikely" means?

i had 20 coin in wallet from 1 month,staking is enabled,but never got nothing,what i have to do ?please explain.

to get staking rewards you should multiply your coins by something like 1k.

Could someone explain me what are the advantages of this coin? I don't see something special or unique, except the 0% POS feature. Why should an investor buy this coin? Maybe I overlooked something on their website.

It is definitely a popular coin for miners, since a few days it is highly ranked on whattomine.com.

There is no single feature that is unique for Trezar coin however there is very nice combination of features that IMHO make this coin very interesting. To be more specific:

- PoS that doesn't requires a shitload of coins for masternode (although current POS system could be improved - IMHO NAV coin PoS is better),
- good for GPU mining,
- Large but not too large and most of all limited supply of coins,
- Segwit and Lightnig coming in 2018.
- very low market cap right now so still a lot of growth possible.

Now I don't think it would replace bitcoin and top tier coins but I do think that it if all goes well it has potential to challenge coins like Mona or Vertcoin.

Finally found a solution for skein issues with sgminer problem and got it running but performance is disappointing - I get around 170MHs per one RX580 while on on single GTX 1070 Ti I get around 660MH. So if anyone wondered is it worth to mine this on AMDs - absolutely not unless maybe you got Vega. If anyone else got better results for AMD Polaris cards please do let me know.

 RX570 4G - 254MHs!  RX560 4G - 123MHs!   sgminer 5.3.1    Win10*64

Thx for info, this is much better then what I got under Linux. Still it looks like this coin is for Nvidia mining.

Hi,

any plans to add skein? Right now when I try to run gateless for skein coin mining i get:

"[15:03:14] Algorithm skein not found, using ckolivas."

Hi,

I've been trying to use this sgminer verion to mine some skein coins but when I start I get following error:

[14:39:45] Algorithm skein not found, using ckolivas.

Then all starts, hashrate is reported locally but pool shows no shares submitted and no hashrate. Does anyone had this issue? If so can you let me know how to enable skein mining using sgminer?

Is Numus profitable for miners, particulary for AMD-miners? How much will each AMD 570 get daily? Thanks.

That is interesting question however so far I could not find any workable solution for my AMD Linux rig. I've tried few versions of sgminer but they only show local hashrate - there are no shares submitted to the pool.

Already have an AMD GPU Miner? With a RX 580 you should have a good gain mining this coin

Maybe this would be true on windows however on Linux I get nothing. Same sgminer version running very similar script for Neoscript coins does pretty well however when I switch to skein algo and address then no share are submitted.

I think I found the cause  of this issue, after starting sgminer I get:

"[14:39:45] Algorithm skein not found, using ckolivas."

But skein.cl file is there in the folder and also skein256.cl that I've also tried to use without success. So has anyone succeeded in running sgminer with skein algo for numus mining? If so how did you got it running?

Hi

I'm trying to rebuild this version under Ubuntu 16.04, but after running pdebuild I get following errors:

dpkg-source: error: source package has two conflicting values - nsgminer and bfgminer
dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-source --before-build nsgminer-nsgminer-v0.9.3 gave error exit status 2

I've followed instructions from README-Debian - installed the Pbuilder package, created a base tarball and applied the patch "patch -p1 < debian/patches/nsgminer-bitforce.diff". But unfortunately got above error in result when trying to build, unfortunately I'm not familiar with this build system. Does anyone know how to fix it? . From what I can see those build instructions from README-Debian are somewhat outdated - the original patch instruction was: "patch -p1 < debian/patches/bfgminer-bitforce.diff " however this file is not in the package so I used "patch -p1 < debian/patches/nsgminer-bitforce.diff". Maybe there are some other steps missing and/or outdated that I need to perform in order to compile?

Hi,

are you going to release a Linux version?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: November 20, 2017, 06:14:47 PM

Try:

./navcoin-4.0.6/bin/navcoin-cli getstakereport

It works now, thanks for help.

In case someone would need it - in order to enable staking remotely you need to use:

./navcoin-cli walletpassphrase YOUR_PASSWD UNLOCK_TIME_IN_SEC true

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: November 19, 2017, 04:15:02 PM
...

2. (How to check if it is staking, and what is remaining time to reward?)
This is easy, it is a standard common rpc command:
navcoin-cli getstakinginfo

...

Thx for info I've tried "navcoin-cli getstakinginfo" and got following error:

error: Could not locate RPC credentials. No authentication cookie could be found, and no rpcpassword is set in the configuration file ...

So I did some search on how to setup rpcpassword and found more then that. In theory following config should give me all I need:

rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcport=44444
port=44440
listen=1
daemon=1
txindex=1
staking=1

Problem is I've benn waiting over a week to get reward and still got 2 days left to get it so don't want to restart it now but as soon as I get my reward I will restart wallet using cli and give my results here, maybe it will be useful for someone.

Regards

Hi there,

I'm looking for more information on how to control Navcoin wallet using command line (navcoin-cli). To be more specific - I intend to run Navcoin Core on remote Ubuntu system and connect to it using SSH. The most important functions for me are:

1. How to enable wallet for staking?
2. How to check wallet status: if it is staking, and what is remaining time to reward?

Alternatively if it is easy maybe someone could let me know how to enable Web UI for Navcoin Core running on Ubuntu.

I've already checked tutorials provided here:

https://navtechservers.com/tutorials/written-tutorials/

but all I could find is remote usage by Web UI on Raspberry and no information on how to run using cli or how to enable Web UI on other platforms then Raspberry.

Regards
