A friend of mine told me about them because she works for them in creation of their sig designs and told me that they are a good project based on whitepaper released and I really got interest but ICO is not running well and based on my past experience an ICO that not able to reach their target had hard time recovering into token's ICO price.

Yes off course, in order for a person to buy coins they are putting fiat money and convert them to certain coins they want. eventhough current price of this coins btc and eth for example is so huge it is still okay since you can buy them in part like satoshi and gwei based on any amount you can afford.

If you are just interested in bitcoin then read on bitcoin boards there are lots of helpful threads there and almost complete with the basic information from what bitcoin is to ways of earning and growing btc.

No I never think it is safe investment because knowing how bitcoin grows there is a chance of crash on anytime that make it a risky investment but we can't deny the fact that it really attracts lots of investors that makes it a good investment indeed.

Why are you looking aside from myetherwallet? So far this is what I am using and got no problrm on it just need to be careful due to lots of phising site all around trying to steal user's private key. I had also heard of IMtoken which my friends are using but you need to pass their exam first.

I am from PH and the only wallet convenient to use here for converting in and out fiat to bitcoin is coins.ph the fee also sucks appraisal for bitcoin for buying and selling also sucks. If only coinbase is available here I would choose to use coinbase though.

In order to rank up you should accrue certain numbers of activities: 30 for JR Member 60 for Member 120 for Full Member 240 Sr. Member 480 Hero and 960 for Legendary (quite not sure though) but be aware that forum only count post as activity up to 14activities for every two weeks so even you post hundred times a day it wont work you need to wait;
