I am having this issue and I cant figure out why. I am downloading the image from the website and then using Win32disk to make my USB. I have tried 2 USB drives and a portable USB HDD. Gives me the error no matter what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah i have not been able to find a good guide to setup reaper. I am actually trying to run Linux to eliminate the use of an HD and I have read that people are getting almost 700kh/s using it.

I cannot change the intensity passed 12 or the server will not take the hashes my cards put out. at 13 intensity i do around 550. At 12 i am back down to 400. Any ideas?

Ok guys I have 2 machines running with dual Twin Frozr 7950 cards. I am generating 380-420H/s and the temps are around 65.

Does that sound about right? I have heard of people playing with their script file and make them do around 600h/s.

Any help would be appreciated! I will post pics of the first cage I made, but it is not complete. I am playing around with fans to see where it makes the biggest difference.

I have heard that the way to go are pools so you get more money combining the mining power.

Will do. My cousin was supposed to help me setup the new systems once I build them but it looks like they won't be here until Monday. I do have a precision 380 from dell with dual GTX260 cards. I know they are old, but I was going to try to use them and start to see how this all works so I am more familiar when i build the systems.

I heard that BTCs are very difficult to generate so I was going to go for LTC first. I am assuming that the config files have to be different for them.

Do you guys use anything special to track the systems? I have an iPhone and I would like to check on the status of the computers while I am at work.

My biggest thing is something that i will never get my money back if this thing goes down. Those usb interrupts seem great but if the coin market does you will have useless USB drives.

I mean to each their own, but I can't afford to throw money at something knowing that is it goes down i won't get anything for them. That happened to me with the Satellite modding business. I bought all of this equipment and then it went down for good and I never made a profit and I could not sell the equipment.

I went ahead and ordered 2 systems

2 1000w PSU
2 MOBO with FM2 PROCs
2 HD
2 Heatsink and fans
4 MSI prozr cards
4 2GB sticks of ram

Hopefully by the end of the week I will have these 2 running.

I am not going to lie profit is the main reason why I want to do this. I also enjoy the building process of systems. I just bought a house and don't exactly have the cash to go out and spend 3k on building 3-4 systems to mine on.

I took the chance and bought one of the 5GH miners and I am willing to wait while I build a system to get familiar with mining. I am going to build one since I already have a 850w power supply and ram. I just need to buy a motherboard and some video cards.
