1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Moneypaktrader is a scammer on: July 20, 2013, 02:13:22 AM
I got in contact with Moneypaktrader on the Litecoin forum and agreed to buy $25.00 worth of Litecoin. Sent him the money and he disappeared. He also screwed over another member named Bitmad. Stay away from this guy. He's a fraud!

I'm looking for an anonymous method available in Canada for both buying and selling bitcoins. Anyone?
3  Bitcoin / Pools / Mining Pools Anonymously on: July 09, 2013, 03:15:45 AM
Can I mine in a pool without revealing my IP address? I sign up to pools using Tor but I'm sure it defeats the purpose once I connect to the pool using GUIMiner

I'm trying to merge-mine on Bitparking.

I click File => New Miner => New CG Miner

Host: mmpool.bitparking.com
Port: 15098
Username: (my username)
Password: (any password, as per website instructions)

Next I choose my video card from the drop-down list and click Start.

In the status bar on the bottom right of the window it says "Starting". It stays like this for a few minutes and then I get the error message "No Servers Could Be Used. Exiting."

I've followed the instructions as best I can from this page: http://mmpool.bitparking.com/pool
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Using both of my PCI-E slots at once on: June 25, 2013, 01:05:55 AM
I have an extra PCIE slot on my motherboard that I'm not using. I'm planning on buying a second video card for it, but how exactly do I go about mining with both cards at once?

I've heard about crossfire, but I've also heard that you end up with a speed that is less than the sum of its parts with crossfire. Is there a way for me to get both cards to work as two separate entities on my machine?
