1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Possible Double-Spend attack on BCash using Bitcoin Mining pool on: February 13, 2018, 09:56:01 AM
I have been spreading this video myself to anyone and everyone that will watch or those who even just may.  Keep up the great work!  The world must be informed of this possible danger! Embarrassed
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin can overcome this hit, Bitcoin will moon! on: February 05, 2018, 08:40:10 PM
Huge FUD coming in all the time from Korea, USA and China. This is by far the hardest hit Bitcoin ever took. If Bitcoin survives to these FUDs. 20K will be a first and easy target for Bitcoin. Keep HODLING!

U.S Market was down as much as 1500 point for a moment.  Hang on to what you have.  Maybe market will crash!
 Shocked
3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: List of court cases, complaints, regulatory actions, etc. on: January 13, 2018, 11:04:38 PM
[Update Feb 19, 2014:

This thread is no longer being updated all that much. As Bitcoin further permeates the world, most every nation (or state, etc.) will have content specific to that jurisdiction's involvement with Bitcoin.   Feel free to continue posting as you wish, but this thread will no longer be even close to being a comprehensive list as it had been for a period of time.

Other resources:

This list is to serve as an index to all the events in which Bitcoin-related topics interact with the courts, police, regulators, etc.

This is similar to how the NEW Articles in the Press Forum thread serves as an index to media mentions.

Topics related to regulations, taxes, etc. are also cataloged in a Bitcoin.it Wiki article:

Compilation of legal and regulatory information
 - http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Compilation_of_legal_and_regulatory_information

I'm hoping for this thread to remain an index, mostly with just a brief summation and then links towards other threads and external sources -- rather than be where discussion for each index entry occurs.   If an entry is made, feel free to reply with a link to a relevant thread where further discussion occurs or to other related content.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get Bitcoin Gold if my BTC is in paper wallet? on: January 02, 2018, 09:10:36 PM
Don't worry you will get them if you own private key for that wallet.

That is correct, however, to "cash out" the bitcoin gold without compromising your paper wallet you'll have to jump trough several hoops.
If you ever decide to "cash out" the bitcoin gold, it might be a good idear to sweep the paper wallet into a different bitcoin wallet, wait untill the sweeping transaction has confirmed, and afterwards (and only afterwards) import the private key from your paper wallet into a bitcoin gold compatible wallet.

As soon as your private key is entered in either wallet, your paper wallet must be marked as compromised. As soon as the bitcoin and bitcoin gold are spent, discard and never re-use the paper wallet again... Instead, making a new paper wallet to transfer your BTC to might be a good idear.

Please look up all the forks of bitcoin and when they occurred before discarding any paper wallet!  You my be very surprised to find you are entitled to about 8 to 10  different forked coins!  Here is what i found.

5  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 20, 2017, 10:43:50 PM
Bitcoin at this point is completely useless. So if the trading pairs stop it will die. Its only existence reason is it has all the trading pairs and being the first. For that i honour it. But i dont see a point in buying it really. Ethereum is much more valuably in its use. I dont really believe in "coins" anyway. Other then a novelty.
It is the underlying technology that is of value!  The distributed ledger.  The decentralization.  The blockchain etc..  I hope it goes down to $12,000 at least so I can buy more of the limited coin.  The wild price swings are just the nature of the beast.  Not for the faint of heart.  It does have value!  It will NEVER be zero, Never!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is DEAD Again!! on: December 20, 2017, 04:19:59 PM
Why you think its dead? Its just a price drop, pretty normal in crypto world, If this you consider a dead then bitcoincash stays dead 99% of the year lol.
Agree 100%.  Those who have been in crypto for any time know this is typical push down before huge rally.  Great oppertunity to get in.  Many will make mistake and follow the herd.  Oh well.  There loss is others benefit!  Making the CME investor pull out their hair.  They are not accustomed to such wild swings.  Love to see them now.  Panic, confusion etc...LOL
7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (WTB) WTT tokens (Giga Watt) on: December 16, 2017, 08:14:02 PM
I am interested in buying Giga Watt tokens (WTT).
Why?  I have been waiting since July for them to release my tiny 244 tokens.  The site just says release of 4th batch soon.  That has been up for months now.  I have been trying to get them to release the damn things so I can sell and buy another coin I am all buy positive will double in 2 month or less.  They have screwed me!  If there was a way I could transfer my account to you I would!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit coin hit $12500. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 04:22:47 PM
I have a $1200. I want to invest in bitcoin  Undecided. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin or should i wait until BTC down?

To be hoenst I am waiting it to fall back since 10 000$ mark since I was expecting big corretions that haven't occurd . Nobody can answer this although people thought that price at 500$ was high then 1k$, 2k$ and so on.... Be sure to be ready to lose that 1200$ as well as to gain more money. In my opinion it is bubbling up cuz many people hear about it now, but I could be wrong the same time.

Nobody can answer you your question because nobody knows, be sure to look and understand the bitcoin , just some basics to keep your bitcoins safe in case you buy them.

I would wait.  The whales are driving down prices!  May get them below $9,000.00 before they are done.  Then when futures treading starts they will go long and drive prices sky high.  This way they win, win.  This is a market manipulators dream.  They will continue doing this till they make a ton of money and buy back bitcoin at a rate unprecedented. It will be the inevitable demise of the Bitcoin over $15.00
