Is there somewhere the original 1.0 FW to revert it back if it does not work right ?

Hi

I used CGMINER 3.1.1 with an radeon hd 5870 on RedHat EL 6.4 and all worked fine.
After upgrading to 3.3.1 I only get HWs but no shares. What has changed since 3.1.1?

Thx
You changed your driver.

See GPU-README. It's even in UPPERCASE, screaming out to be read.

I read the files and did not find any hint. The driver is still the same.
I tried the old 3.1.1 one and it still works.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / CGMiner Question on: June 26, 2013, 10:58:52 AM
Hi,

I'm new to this forum and this is the only place I can post my question so sorry if this is not the apt place.

I'm using Linux(Redhat 6.4 and Ubuntu 13.04) on my machines. What I tried to do is to compile CGminer for them.
The Problem is that one machine is based on AMD  and the other on Nvidia graphic cards. As far as I understand the idea
of OpenCL it should abstract the code from the platform, right?

So my innocent idea was I complile it once and can use it on all platforms.
But what I experienced was that if it is compield agains AMD OpenCL version it works only for AMD and not for Nvidia and versa vice.
Where is the problem?

Best regards
