Update: So far we have 49 stratum clients hashing at 150 Thash/s on F2XTPool. Block expected in two months at this hashrate.
Why?
Because F2Pool pull down their announcement about Classic vote long time ago.

It's about time to end this close-door roundtable consensus process.
Complete goes against Satoshi's consensus-forming process.

We are currently under DDoS attack.

Well, time to forget about the whole HK agreement, and break free from their tyranny.

Hey guys,
I just found this online.
Do you guys think this organization is legit?
Is it ok to give our email contact to this guy?

I also heard that since gox is under bankruptcy protection, no one can actually sue them in any way. Am I right?

Conclusion
Other than what is mentioned above, I find this game surprisingly fun and addictive to play.(I am now lv 41 with more than 400 "bitcoins" Tongue)

Awesome Review! = ) thanks alot for the feedback really appreciated and much needed....

I didn't realize the skills worked with right click? lol... anyhow not fully working as I intend them to, and there will be much more flashier special effects to showcase the skills when used...

I do plan to add keyboard binding of the skills to to number keys, gravity yes will be adjusted.

i'm glad you enjoy it, too bad you can't save your lvl and coins collected yet lol! registration will come soon as alot of the bugs and other features have been fixed or added.
Regarding the hp bar, I've seen it in your promotion video, and yes it does block sight a little bit.
I would suggest that you display it above the skills section as a thin red tube(thats where my eyes focus at).
However, include it as an option in Settings to display a floating hp bar above your character if players want to. Smiley

Can you turn on the HP bar?
Its hard for me to fight monsters without it.

Can you also have level indicators on ourselves and the mobs so that we know which mobs we are capable of killing.

Yes actually I do have Level indicator and health bar but I disabled it for now because the current setup was very cluttered and it got in the way of viewing the player, mob, and environment, so I will be creating a new graphic for all that which will be part if the HUD.

also I must note, the enemies won't have a level indicator on them because Levels won't really matter in this game, it will be a matter of skill rather than level to defeat your enemies, monsters or other players. It will make more sense once I have the action bar and skills working.

Skills
Actually, the skills are working fine, surprisingly.

They will light up once I engage the enemies. (the dash skill is always lit up and usable once right-clicked)

I have been using the first skill constantly by right-clicking it when engaged.

I also found that the hp potion will light up whenever I got hit i.e. not at full health. I can then right click it to consume a potion. Once consumed, it will dim out. (thats bcz we are back to full health i assume)

However, only the AoE skill(2nd skill) seems buggy, I only see it light up two or three times when I fight my way to lv40. (It appears that this skill has a chance of becoming available only when I am surrounded by a lot of mobs, maybe 4 or more)

One thing I find unhandy is that you always have to move your cursor to right click the skills in order to use them.
Do you plan to bind the skills to the keyboard like number 1,2,3,4? This is what traditional RPG games do.
(not sure if you did this on purpose, cuz after I leveled up to lv40, i find it is fun to actually keep your mouse busy all the time moving, targeting and clicking skills. This feels more engaged than using both hands with keyboard and mouse)

Gravity
I think you need to tweek the gravity setting in the game a little bit, since every time i jump, I feel like I'm on the moon.

Display
The counts of bitcoins and potions are not moving with window resolutions correctly. I didn't know there was a count until I went full screen.

Conclusion
Other than what is mentioned above, I find this game surprisingly fun and addictive to play.(I am now lv 41 with more than 400 "bitcoins" Tongue)

progress
23:46:21 <anarchystar> try explaining to the judge how you failed to report 500 million in bitcoins
where do we go and find chat logs like this?
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mark talking to anarchystar on: March 05, 2014, 07:07:52 AM
This looks highly legit.

Reason #1:
Anarchystar is known as Olivier Janssens(Source), who is an active member of the Bitcoin Foundation from Belgium.
Since Mark and Olivier are both active in Bitcoin Foundation, they should have known each other.
Therefore, Olivier is not a random stranger to Mark, and he is the one who has a high probability that Mark will talk to when encountered.

Reason #2:
By looking at the time stamp Mark quoted Olivier's conversation for replying, there always appears to be a time difference between the quoted text and the original original text.
We can see that Mark's time stamp is always 8 hours ahead of Olivier's, which concurs with the time-zone difference between Japan(UTC +9) and Belgium(UTC +1)

The only thing we cannot insure is if the details of the conversation have been altered/tailored.
But this is some really valuable information you posted here. Thank you for your post.

One last thing, can you post the rest of the conversation here plz? Cuz I see the conversation ended with a incomplete sentence of Olivier's.

Why our hashrate on eligius is so unstable?
11  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 26, 2014, 01:19:59 AM
Please clarify:

4.09573021 coins leaving from 1cogxXy to
- 1.91145049 to 1Gw8o, the Cognitive havelock deposit address. This is the 10420 shares * 0.00018344 btc dividend per share.
- 1.91145049 to 1coggh, the Cognitive reinvestment fund, now at only 11.2291 btc instead of 15.
- 0.27272926 to 1Garr255, Garrett's public personal address... but why??

The contract states that all operating costs will be covered by the operators shares. I don't see any valid reason to send Cognitive funds straight to Garretts address.
Did you not make a separate wallet for Cognitive, resulting in sending all change money to your personal wallet? Please keep personal wallets separated from Cognitives.
Any coin that goes to 1coggh, intended or not, belongs to Cognitive.

Garrett plans to get online tonight and give you a more detailed explanation, but for now here is a brief explanation:

For a period of time, Garrett was using personal funds to pay dividends. The funds that were transferred from 1cogxXy to 1Garr255 (Garrett's public personal address) are compensation for that. I am going to contact Havelock and get records of when deposits were made into the COG dividend account and from what address they were sent. Then anyone should be able to verify that the dates for both the deposits and the dividends were the same, and that there were indeed deposits to 1Gw8o from one of Garrett's personal addresses equaling 0.27272926 BTC in value.

Why is there not at least 15.09686895 Btc in the reserve fund? The cointerra order was placed before cog was launched on havelock. So why is the not 50 percent of divs in the reserve fund? Why is the reserve fund still not completely public? This is bitcoin these are not hard task to accomplish this is the cognitive wallet mining revenue goes in, and any time that a single satoshi moves from the wallet there is a explanation. That way none of this crap is a problem and investors are not left with broken promises about transparency.

Garrett and I will come up with the exact price of the CoinTerra order so the amount in the reserve fund can be verified. The CT hardware was priced in dollars, so we will have to check the price of bitcoin at the time of the CT purchase to determine the value of the CT hardware, and ensure that the amount of BTC in the reserve fund is valid.

The reserve fund is completely public: https://blockchain.info/address/1cogghK1bWFNSVHdicX2dQLfcWJzxHBHY

As I said, Garrett will be online tonight to give a better explanation.

- Samuel
Thank you Sam!
This sounds a lot more professional and transparent, this can really be a good start of Cognitive.
I really hope Cognitive can clear up every doubt we have here and start a healthy growth!

Looks like mining is back up to 8-9TH today.  Either fixed some of the units or more arrived.
10+TH now. Smiley
13  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 22, 2014, 03:57:40 PM
hey garr,
whats with the hash rate drop, did u talk to CT about the said defective units?
14  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 21, 2014, 10:03:03 PM
Also, with the new hardware coming in it is time to get rid of the old BFL and Avalon hardware. In-hand hardware is always in high demand, so we shouldn't have a problem selling it. I will put up for sale threads today.
agreed. Cheesy
please also come up with a plan on how we are going to spend the btc reserve we have and the 50% btc that will be mining from the 28TH.
15  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 21, 2014, 09:56:14 PM
so its not about how many units, its about the 28TH! hooray!
16  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 20, 2014, 01:06:04 PM
Here's an update on the progress of the new hardware:

Garrett has spent the entire day configuring the new units. On average, he has been bringing a new unit online every hour, and he has one more left tonight.

2 of the machines aren't working properly, so he plans to call CoinTerra tomorrow morning to try and get them fixed.

I will continue to keep you all updated!

- Samuel
Thx Sam. Can we ask how many units have we ordered in total?
17  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 20, 2014, 12:43:19 AM
We want pictures! As usual! Smiley

The seven asic miners i got were mine. And yes they are either mining or sold.

I dont know if cog has got any miners yet.
Garr, can u give us more info on this plz?
19  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 15, 2014, 01:34:01 PM
I fail to see how "hiring a PR person" will fix anything since all the information is known by Gar255 and him only.
It just doesn't make sense...
+1

Hello Shareholders,

Currently, I'm on my way to Austin to speak with Cointerra regarding our order. As the contract Ravi (CT CEO) agreed to states, if they are 30 days late (after January 31) in delivering our hardware, we will receive and additional 30% of the total hashpower we ordered. I believe they will be delivering in February, and will be able to confirm either way this evening. Hopefully I will be able to pick up a few test units while in Austin in order to start generating some sizable coins for Cognitive.

A few people have inquired on managing the bookkeeping and PR for Cognitive, and I am in the process of sorting through these emails and PMs to choose whomever is most worthy.

Cheers,
Garrett
Just wanna clarify this, do u mean any unit delivered after Jan 31 will be 30% extra or after 30 days after Jan 31?
