Is Ian Balina an investor, or just on the advisory body?

NUCLEUS VISION has Tip Draper as an investor. That is a huge fillip to both NUCLEUS VISION and ETH as well

What's up with the hard cap, I heard that it has changed. Can anyone give any details?

There's a bunch of interesting token sales coming up including AppCoins, Nucleus Vision and Gameflip. I think it'd be an interesting idea to add them to my portfolio in small amounts at first and gauge the level of appreciation before I buy more or I pull out (hopefully for max profit!).
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Place to Invest Bitcoin...Asking for a friend. Go! on: December 08, 2017, 02:01:26 PM
Lol. If you have Bitcoin, you've already invested in one of the fastest growing stores of value out there. I and many, many other members would suggest you HOLD.

But that aside, if you're determined to invest bitcoin, I suggest lending it out on a trusted platform (Bitbond, Poloniex, BTCLendingClub) and reap the interest. Other investment opportunities include buying into ETH or XRP, both of which have seen +4000% gains this year. And if you want to invest in some interesting token sales, in the hope of much larger potential rewards, I'd go with Nucleus.Vision, Leverj and Monero (if you can get your hands on it)

If you're not going to trust in Bitconnect, there's a service called Coincheck which is pretty trustworthy, You have a 5% interest rate cap, but you can also trade Monero, Ether and Ripple.

If I do not want a retailer to have access to my data later on, can I remove the access?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin on: November 30, 2017, 01:02:25 PM
Lol. A little late to the party, are we? To give you a clue, the time to invest in Bitcoin is NOW! The price has already crossed $10000, beating predictions by a few months. And it's only going to go higher over the next year as the currency continues to stabilize. If you invest now, you actually have a chance to get your hands on a reasonably investment, if you wait a year, who knows? But remember to watch for a slight dip in the market before you go all out. On the flip side, if you don't have that much to invest, you could always put money into ETH, which is significantly cheaper. Or even into ETH-based tokens like nCash - https://nucleus.vision - or Cashaa, which is live right now.

How soon after the token sale will tokens be distributed? Immediately or will we have to wait?

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become the best worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system on: November 24, 2017, 10:02:38 AM
I think bitcoin will be on top in future. It already the best cryptocurrency which has huge demand & high market value.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2017, 10:57:31 AM
With DApps integrating into IoT and slowly becoming an irreplaceable part of our lifestyles, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Bitcoin was replaced by a currency that offers more value.

And by 'value' I don't mean simple monetary value, but rather the usage and efficiency of usage that a given currency represents. If you consider how the ethereum blockchain is being used to develop all kinds of decentralised applications, due to it's superior block processing speed, and ETH relative ease of acquisition.

What sorts of apps? For example, the fellas over at https://nucleus.vision are developing a coin that is to be integrated into retail sales, as both payment for consumer data, and as a customer loyalty bonus. If they get picked up by major retailers and the token alone could blindside bitcoin and soar, price-wise, while adding significant value as a medium of exchange.
