Why no LTC? Right now you are mining GLD which is below LTC in profitability  Huh

What is you fee if I want to transfer coins out rather than convert them to BTC?

While LTC may be the most profitable to mine in terms of price and difficulty, with our current hashrate it would not be the most profitable for hashcows to mine.  Until a time we reach a hashrate to have a reasonable chance at finding LTC blocks during an average round time, I don't see a lot of point in adding it to the rotation.   We'd be unlikely to find blocks, leading to wasted hashpower of the miners (technically the shares just roll-over into the next coin round, and count, but the pool would have brought in 0 coins over that LTC period), and less overall payouts.   However I'll consider adding adjustments to switch to it if it reaches a relatively high profitability % to make it too hard to ignore.   I'm always happy to hear other opinions on this though.

The tx fee per coin is listed on the balances page when you cash out.    The pool fee for non-btc based payouts is 2%.

For mining LTC: It is not possible to use an other big LTC pool and let the Hashcows pool work like a proxy?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin High Performance on: July 25, 2013, 02:16:09 PM
I am currently testing the latest commits, it seems that the PPS indicator is very low compared to the value before, more than halved my numbers and chainspermin is 0 mostly all the time.
I will keep on testing, meanwhile, is anybody else testing the CURRENT version and seeing the same results out there ?

This happened for me too, on my Debian server with an i5-3570. I can't get even 1k PPS anymore, and chainspermin is around 1. HP7 was performing much better before. I don't have this performance problem with the newest version on an Ubuntu VirtualBox installation.

Here with Ubuntu 10.04 and i7-950 it's the same. PPS 300-700. Is use a self compilied GMP-lib.

If Electricity costs is your main concern try to reduce the voltage even if you have to reduce the clock speed a little.

I see no connection from FASTCOIN to Africa. Why should it be the future coin for Africa?

LTC is more profitable with a GPU then BTC because with the ASICS the difficulty for BTC skyrocket.
Give-me-ltc and weminelt are both good pools for LTC
