1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 05, 2017, 01:34:36 PM
Most of the alt coins project are looking very good but due to the noise made by bitcoin at this moment they don't get the deserved attention but they will in the future. As all know there is no chart with a continuous rising trend.

So for me the short answer  is yes, they do have a future. And if you can jump on in the beginning of the project you can get some nice profit

I'm not looking to hire a developer , at least not at this point.

I need a little push forward/ help.

So here is my problem.

I manage to compile and to generate the genesis hash but I get an error when I try to mine the second hash ( no 00001).

This is the error I get:

Code:
2017-11-22 13:53:22 CreateNewBlock(): total size 1000
2017-11-22 13:53:22 CheckProofOfWork() : hash is e9bae9d8cca89e969f09017171cf8b565c0003a31747d78157ca22343f1f60b7
target: 00000fffff000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Bits is 504365055
2017-11-22 13:53:22 ERROR: CheckProofOfWork() : hash doesn't match nBits
2017-11-22 13:53:22 ERROR: CheckBlockHeader() : proof of work failed
2017-11-22 13:53:22 ERROR: CheckBlock() : CheckBlockHeader failed
2017-11-22 13:53:22 CreateNewBlock() : TestBlockValidity failed

Thank you and I really hope someone can give me a push forward with this.

Hy,

I'm looking for a crypto developer that can give me a hand with some personal project.

I look on the forum but I didn't get any luck so if you are not a dev maybe you can point me where to start searching or how should I contact.

Thank you
