2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iota wallets on: December 07, 2017, 11:25:19 PM
No, IOTA has not released their own wallet yet, so probably this guy is sending you a pishing link

Thanks cryptostats!! im kind of new at this.... has anyone used it yet? is it safe?

I dont think that they have developed a new wallet in just a day, because i was trying to look for a wallet to store some iota yesterday, but there wasn't any.

they haven't released any wallet yet, if you want to buy iota, you just need to store them on bitfinex or binance, that is the only way that you can hold iota at the moment.

They are going to add it to the Ledger App in a few weeks, so stay stunned because that is one of the best ways to store coins.

Okay sounds good ill keep a lookout for that. I looked into the github one and apparently there is one but the password has to be 80 characters long and you constantly have to update the wallet...

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin in a bubble or just getting to it’s true value? on: November 24, 2017, 11:45:51 PM
Bitcoin is not quite the bubble. The whole hype around the whole idea and industry is what is causing a bubble. If you compare this industry with the Dot.com and any other innovative tech emerging markets, they have the same similar business cycle. The industry will get more regulated and there will be the survivors and giants like googles and the amazons.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Cashout Crypto on: November 24, 2017, 11:39:01 PM
There are cards like the monaco one and many others coming out. There are also exchanges that will allow you to go from many coins to USD. Wallets with exchange features. And there is always transferring the USD from the exchanges bank to your bank account.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: November 24, 2017, 11:01:10 PM
Thats comparing apples to oranges. The value, hype, and global consensus are some of the few similarities in between them. They have also both become a sort of investment vehicle with the difference of one being a tangible precious metal and the other an intangible cryptocurrency.
Which is better?
I believe they are not comparable. There are so many differences that they could never replace each other.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: November 22, 2017, 09:35:04 PM
There are many cryptocurrency swipecards that are coming out. These will allow you to attach your bitcoin account to the card and shop for merchandise online or in stores. ie. Fintech select
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbies on: November 22, 2017, 08:13:49 PM
It is hard when you are new. Ive been doing this for a while now and im also stating to get confused as to what coin i put my money on. I would do research before you jump into anything because even the top 10 could decrease in value.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: November 22, 2017, 08:05:13 PM
I would look at their team. The creators, advisors and developers involved with the product.

so:
Lead individuals running it
breakdown of whitepaper
project backers
what tokens are being used for
proportion of tokens
website or blog
what the funds raised are for
