1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HTML5 realtime Bitcoin charts - need your feedback please on: July 04, 2013, 12:31:54 AM

If you look at the BTC price at the exchange you will see the price sometimes vary by $1 - $10. You buy BTC at one exchange cheap, and you selll them an hour later (or a miute later if you use a green address) 10% higher at another exchange.

Yep, this is what i understand. But is this a theory or you making money on this? Does this strategy work on Bitcoin?

I am not doing this. I have an account at MtGox only.

But I interact with someone who did many such transactions in the past two weeks (involving transactions at 3 exchanges). Just yesterday there was a $7 difference between MtGox and BTC-e.

Sounds interesting. Could you please contact us at sbokov@tradngview.com, it would be great to discuss how to build these features.

Suggestions:

1. Start accepting BTC for your PRO services.

Sounds logical. But let us switch to paypal first:)

2. More exchanges are needed, e.g. to run cross-exchange analysis of instruments (for arbitrage)

Could you please explain how you use this approach? You actually trade spreads?

3. More cryptocurrencies than just BTC would be welcome.

Got it.

4. Consider disabling chat click sounds by default. It took me some time before I figured out what these were and how to disable them.

Yep.

5. Consider adding visual depth of market like here http://bitcoinwisdom.com/ (those red and green lines / dots representing bids and asks)

Nice feature! Thank you for sharing.

6. Your website rocks
Thank you and appreciate your feedback.

One bug:

Cloning a trendline with ray sometimes make the chart blank as per the picture:

Will check this.

7  Economy / Speculation / Great manipulators business on: July 02, 2013, 05:20:10 PM
This is only my personal opinion. Sorry for my english.
I believe that all the organized markets in the world are under The Universal Principle of Manipulation and under other principle that i will explain in another time.
Based on this, i want to explain some traps that are very usual in the markets.
In this chart i will write about one of those sleights and in one direction only (bear trend). And i want to call this bear trend tecnique: The Turkeycock's Mucus Absorbtion.
It's usual for manipulators return the price until the break level. They love to triple the profit quickly with almost the same work. We can see in the chart that when they open the fawcet in a bear trenline, they drop the turkey mucus until the next suport. But inmediatly they absorb it back to the turkeycock's beak very quickly, some times it's so fast that it pass the beak and reach the brain of the animal. The manipulators madness is for this reason(and others). After this, they put paper another time and continue droping the price. You can see in the chart two Turkeycock's Mucus very clearly. One begins in 107.5, drop to 100 and returns passing the beak reaching the manipulator's brain. And the other begins in 100, drop to 92and return, in this case, only to the beak.
Explanation: when price is in Bear TL they take out theirs money's positions in bid's table and drop until next suport. Then they take out theirs paper's posiitions in ask's tables and put in money's positions until break's origin. Then they put again theirs normals paper's positions and everybody's happy. Washed operation ended, great job, great business...three washing in one, marvvelous.
How to avoid? Like always. If you have the bear signal in 1h serie and you have shorted it, then you must to change to another serie with 1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, feet the TL and folow the price. If it changes you close. Only folow the trend, you must be always in trend. Never in the contrary direction, this is like walking to the north in the railway and watching the train in front of you with south direction. 7000 tons of train at 200mph against you and yours news shoes. Folow the price and always in trend with stop loss. If not you will lose your new shoes.
I repeat that this is only my opinion.
The manipulators want to take all our pocket's money even the pocket's fuzz. It's important to know this. But it's very important as well to know that they are our friends also. How is this possible???.........

We had a big fall but one should be cautious before being bullish. The BTC may fall further.

Hi Bitcointalk,

We recently added realtime Bitcoin charts and chat. Data is taken directly from MTGOX. Here is how it looks .

We love Bitcoin, we are optimistic and we wish Bitcoin a great future. All is free and we are not going to charge for the Bitcoin charts in the future. It would be great to improve the charts based on the feedback from Bitcointalk community. What is good/bad, what is necessary to add? Are you looking for trading capabilities, time & sales, market depth? Please provide your feedback so we can make it even better!

Thanks
