Hey this may be an odd question, but is there a way for GUIminer running the CUDAminer for a GTX 660 TI to NOT run at 100% load?

I spent the better part of yesterday and today trying to get it to run and had hash rates ranging from low 20khash/sec to finally peaking at 170khash/sec. The thing is the GPU was always running 100% no matter what and it gets pretty hot.

I'm hesitant to let it run at full load for extended periods, so I was hoping there was a way to mine at a lower load, at the expense of a lower hash rate obviously.

Title pretty says it all.

I made an account with http://ltc.kattare.com/ and downloaded the GUIminer scrypt. After that I am completely lost on how to configure it and get it running. I tried looking through various threads on multiple forums but I could not make heads or tails of anything. Any help would be appreciated.
