1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin prices have decreased sharply on: January 12, 2018, 11:25:53 PM
It's probably a wrong point of view. Talking from a more patient perspective, Bitcoin is up 1600% in a year which couldn't be better. Imagine going 100% in the next year, it would be like $25k and even more. And then 50% in 2020, that would make it $40k maybe more. Things are actually doing great if you ask me, these are the golden times for crypto and it's a great beginning.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard to sign-up on exchanges on: January 08, 2018, 10:57:07 PM
Yeah it's not only the exchanges that are clogged right now.. Hopefully it will all be resolved by a couple of updates. Patience is the key my friend!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: January 08, 2018, 10:53:36 PM
It is most certainly possible because when people adopt Bitcoin in their everyday life they will use it the entire time. Unless the governments puts out some regulations that must be followed to pay for taxes, but I do not see them tracking everybody's record easily.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: January 04, 2018, 10:56:59 PM
I honestly want to believe that Sweden will reach their, even though it seems really hard. The world lives on cash for a very long time and sadly I cannot see it changing over the course of 5 years. But, if they manage to do so it could come out to be for the greater good - others will follow and soon we will have cashless world maybe! Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello, may you reach your moon! on: January 04, 2018, 10:54:32 PM
Hello and remember, everybody's got to start somewhere and somehow. The good thing is you are not giving up and I will advise you to keep doing that. You will reach your goals only by trying harder and doing a lot of work! Good luck Smiley
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the Xmas and Holiday season, caused the drop in the price? on: January 02, 2018, 10:40:32 PM
This was a point I tried making when I was talking to some of my friends about Bitcoin. People need some extra cash for the holidays, no matter if it is traveling, gifts, food etc. They withdrew a big chunk of their Bitcoins if you ask me, that caused the drop and now it's slowly regenerating and it can only go up from here.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good advice? on: December 29, 2017, 10:36:15 PM
If you are not comfortable with doing that, then it's not a good advice. There will always be someone who is more successful than you but that does not necessarily mean that you both share the same opinions or that you are obligated to take their advice. Follow your mind and instincts, better learn the hard way because there is no easy way. Good luck
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper wallet inside 7-Zip file on: December 27, 2017, 08:51:05 AM
Any file encrypted with a password that can be taken from online and stored offline, given enough time, can be decrypted, it depends of the attackers speed in which he can iterate passwords and how strong enough is your password.

Let's say you break that archive into multiple ones, still mostly the first file has headers which can lead to revealing some information.

You are also depending on 7Zip using AES encryption bug free and/or being certain that there are no security/encryption back-doors.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: December 26, 2017, 01:09:21 PM
If you are putting money down randomly without any understanding of the underlying technology and how it all works... it could be considered "gambling".
It all depends on if you are trading, are in for the long term and what information you have at a given time.
That being said it is always a risk involved so make sure you have an out if something goes the wrong way ( for example having your stop loss in place is a good way to manage risk).

I wish you a Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future is crypto currency on: December 20, 2017, 10:32:37 PM
But what about the older generation? I believe that 90% of elderly people don't even know what is cryptosurrency. Everything they can't take with their hands terrifies them.
The older generation is living life the way they were used to live it when they were getting old actually. We will be the same, trust me it's always that way. We will be the ignorant ones when our times come because there will always be something new that we won't accept or won't adjust to. You can never know. And as someone else mentioned, it's only the older generations, this is a phenomenon that exists in the younger generations, I know a lot of people that are rejecting to own something they can't see or feel. They simply say I do not trust something that is supposed to be thin air. But things are still changing for the better, so it's up to us to live and evolve this.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: December 16, 2017, 07:20:35 PM
In my opinion, banks should not fear cryptocurrency but they should look at it as their competition and try to get involved. Maybe invent a new form of crypto that will be easily implemented into our everyday lives - but still be fair with its users and do not control it completely, only help people find their way to use it. Banks can still earn a lot this way. But yes, they are most probably afraid of crypto since more and more people are engaging and using less bank services.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: December 15, 2017, 11:50:48 AM
There is no need to feel this way, it doesn't feel good and in hindsight it is always easier to see things, but we can't predict movements so no point in blaming yourself.
You will get better and better and see patterns , but nothing is certain. Take care of your investments and use stop loos and take profit. Have a good one.

This project is under my radar from a long time, good to see a big gun as shrem as advisor, but waiting for some date and time.

Hi Pinball Wizard, happy to hear we are on your radar, I would advice to join our Telegram group http://t.me/viewly and get instant updates.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 10, 2017, 12:31:46 PM
Ethereum will be definetely $1k but you should diversify to at least 3-4 coins. There are such good coins in the market

I agree, don't put everything into one coin even if you think it's a good idea.
The better idea is to have a portfolio of at least 10 coins, when you choose , also look at blockchain activity and transactions and also future updates and projects that can help current ones.
I wish you good luck in your choices.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viewly ∙ A decentralized YouTube on: December 09, 2017, 10:00:14 AM
It looks very interesting project with working small prototype application to understand in real time how this decentralized steaming going to work. I will be waiting for more information to be released about crowdsale and project itself. We need everything decentralized for greater future.

Thank you for your thoughts, we are working hard , updates are coming as soon as we are ready, please subscribe and join our Telegram group : https://t.me/viewly
I wish you a good weekend ahead.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thought about future on: December 07, 2017, 08:39:32 PM
Being very popular and part of new technology does not necessarily mean that will replace "paper" money any time soon now. You do know that there are many nations that struggle with education, unemployment, have bans on internet access or they do not have it at all. But it will surely act as a method of payment and it will spread a lot faster in 2018 when possibly major companies start accepting crypto. But still, I could be dead wrong, I might live to see the time where fiat money is out of the picture and people rely on crypto which will be stored in their body or something like that.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viewly ∙ A decentralized YouTube on: December 03, 2017, 03:15:08 PM
Why mentioned "Youtube" ? Is there anything to do directly with youtube? From what i read about this project, it is a decentralized video sharing platfom. It's a good concept anyway.

It's up on the web page since the very beginning, changing the entire thing really soon. I am really glad you like the concept, you should stay tuned for more information to follow, I think you will like it even more.  Smiley

why is your service better than youtube? literally youtube allows everyone share their videos and creations. or your main purpose is a censorship-free service? how will you deal with porn then?

Hi there moon. We are not saying we are better than anyone, but we will aim to be the best. It's not censorship free service and we have a lot of ideas on how to fight adult or infringing content. If you want to fully understand the idea behind Viewly I suggest you check out the FAQs and the Whitepaper which can be found on our web site. Thank you
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining using phone? on: November 30, 2017, 03:14:38 PM
I think the Electroneum project has been developed entirely for this purpose. If Electroneum's project takes place we will be able to mining with our phones. I suggest you investigate Electroneum.

Yes, electroneum is worth a try. I've been waiting for the mobile miner since 1st proposed launch date.  Grin

Yes, that is the only project I know, too. We just have to wait for hackerone to finish their audit.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent dumping of bitcoin : how to take advantage of it on: November 29, 2017, 09:42:12 PM
Seems a bit early to declare this the sweet spot to buy back in.

I would also wait and see where this goes, I wouldn't buy now, but I would set orders .. just in case it goes up faster than expected.
