1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Forecast of Lightining Network implementation ? on: December 27, 2017, 08:46:43 PM
I know the strict details about lightining network are not available and nobody knows. Actually that is usual in practice for IT projects.
But maybe someone can let me know on which stage there is lightining network ? More or less ? How many percent there is accomplished ? When we can think lightining network would be ready ? 2018 ?  First half ? second half ? 2019 ?
I have heard something that they tests it successfully, tests seems to be the last stage of implementations, so is that close to see ?
Thank you so much in advance for any forecast or link.
Regards
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The quickest source of bitcoin informations ? Some twitter accounts ? on: December 03, 2017, 11:38:58 PM
Hey squatz1. Thank you for the reply.

You are right. I do not consider RogerVer as credible source of good news.
Just I want to know what is the latest informations spread around (because no matter if it is real or fake, it have an effect in market). Most people react with emotions (me to often, still unfortunately). And because of that quick information is worth more than real informations I think so. Of course not in sense of education or understanding, but in reacting of very fluctuate market as bitcoin is example of one.

For example in bitcoin price tracking movement topic (this huge one), someone have posted this a moment ago:

"This just appeared in the British press.
Could affect the price as the news spreads.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/12/03/bitcoin-crackdown-amid-fears-money-laundering-tax-dodging/"

And I think this can be explanation of dips last hour, or part of explanation. Moreover tomorrow more people would read it and this would have an effect I believe. I am not interested if they would do that or not. I doubt that any goverment can ban bitcoin with success. But most of people do not know how to overgo simple stops done by goverment or anyone. And they are scary out of shit like chicken when you shout behind him.

I think now is more clear what I am expecting too and my mindset, so please let me know your sources of informations. Regards !
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The quickest source of bitcoin informations ? Some twitter accounts ? on: December 03, 2017, 11:13:05 PM
Hello, what I am looking for is a source of informations about what is going on with bitcoins.

For example if something happened with bitfinex or tether (recent examples) or some other important things happened in bitcoin world I would like to get to know it as fast as is possible.

I think there is set of twitter accounts that are so important (Bitfinex, RogerVer, CharlieLee, Vitalik...), so I am thinking to collect set of them, and in case any one would twit I would verify if that is important for my case I would like to have time to react.

Do you get me ?
Please share an accounts on twitter or some other source of quick informations you have used to check ?

Of course this forum is the one I am looking, however to be honest here are very priceless informations, however it seems to be few percent or less. So many trolls and people getting cum of no argument, like a questions how much bitcoin would have or if it is good time to invest in bitcoin. I mean I respect all of them, newbie too, but it rubbish important informations, and thsi forum can be a good source of quick, important informations. Please do not treat it like offense, I love this community too ! Smiley

What I am doing is reading a daily informations from some sources, but it is not as fast. When something happened today and I would get to know this tomorrow at 4 o clock for example then already price would have 50 % discount.. what is to slow reaction for me.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

1. Thank you all for replies.
2. To be clear, I am fan of Bitcoin (BTC), me neither support BCH. I wish them the worst actually, because I would prefer to see clear market situation.

@Wilhelm, Ludwig Von
Thank you for analogy.
But.. look who is using now VHS / u-matic format and what is its value ?
It was eaten by better technologies some time ago. And even those better thechnologies were eaten by next, event better technologies.
Do you see that this analogy just looks like negative scenario would apply (BTC can be eaten by some better coin) ?

@honeyb0y
Ok I hope it would be like that. But as you wrote BCH is pumped a lot nowadays and last time they succedded to pump BCH into 2400 USD for a moment. At same time BTC dived.
Please for a moment make a fresh mind and imagine scenario that those snatch pumped BCH into 3000, 4000 or +4000 USD and then 5000.
I do not know what techniques are they used exactly. Is that only buying and selling big amounts + social fake news.
But if they succeded and lets say BCH would be 4000 USD and BTC 5000 USD then I predict big panic, and the next part of selling BTC and buying BCH because of FUD. I did it last time too a bit.
And that way they can make such a panic that BCH and BTC would eventually flip in values. Can you delete this scenario by some argument ?
How can you be sure that limit of pumping this BCH is 2400 USD ?

@tomahawk9
Yes you are right. This is situation. I agree. Look possible scenario above.
What do you think ? I hope it would not happened, and I give it 15 % of possibilty but let me know how can you be sure it for sure not happen ?

@BitcoinBunny
Thank you for trends view. That is cool.
I agree litecoin is better than BCH. But the rivalisation is between BCH and BTC.
I agree that BCH is shitcoin just to make some money by doers.
But big part of usability of cryptocoin is its possibility to fast send / receive, do you agree ?
So bandwith care a lot. And bandwidth in BTC sux nowadays. It is fact, while BCH managed to make it working better in aspect of bandwidth and fast / slow receive / sending.
And now image you are living in South Korea or Japan and you want to go to electronic shop to buy some new items.
Are you going to stay few hours unless cryptocoin network would proceed your transfer ? I doubt so.
So BCH in this case is more practical.
Don't you agree ?
Except this case BCH is shit as hell, because it is fake and nothing new. But practical usage is for BCH.

@sindikat
Thank you argument with trust and confidence is good.
I hope this would be enough and would prevent success of this pumping shit play.

Someone else have something to be added ? You are welcome !

EDIT:
@Dapallo, DustyRah
Yes I am aware of that. And this is argument A from my post.
So what do you think how much is possible that BCH would overgo BTC soon because of practil usability ?
Please describe some arguments why you are sure and peace about your BTC or why you are fearing about it ?
5  Economy / Speculation / Real reason why Bitcoin Cash is chasing Bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 12:37:17 PM
Hello
I am just wondering what is the reason of bitcoin gold raising in value, while bitcoin in such a moments is loosing the value.

My predictions are:
A) there is bigger demand for bitcoin cash as it is more practical for now
especially in north korea and japan there is already some infrastructure and people was using bitcoin to pay there, at least more than in the rest of the world, so this would clarify why bithumb has big part of this movements
B) there are big whales speculating on this or some other less legal situation
there are some blames that Roger Ver is responsible for this
is there any evidence that this price movements are not linked just to demand ?
C) A + B

What predictions do you have ?
Do you agree with one of mine ? If yes then please fill my assumptions with some arguments.

Then I am wondering if it is possible that Bitcoin Cash eventually would eat normal Bitcoin (so overgo it in sense of price) and Bitcoin Cash would dominate the cryptocurrency market. Then what would happen with standard bitcoin, its value would drop ? How much ? 50 % ? More ? Less ?
What do you think ?

Looking for some discussion and as possible the links to facts.

Regards !
