Good afternoon,
I have some problems, and I am not sure if ethOS is the reason or wallet: after I buy ethOS, I create 1 ETC wallet using MyEtherWallet. I mine some time, and I decide to check the wallet quantity cumulate there. Even if in Nanopool it was around 15 ETC added, on MyEtherWallet it was 0 as well on Etherscan. After that I try to mine ETH with a wallet creat also with MyEtherWallet with the same results =0. I was think first of all that I have "bad luck" and I create a wallet installed on ethOS the Ethereum tool, which allow me to check there quantity from wallet. And also here the same result =0 wallet.
What can be the reason because nothing is added on wallet ? What I must should do to can have added on my wallet my currency quantity ?
I waiting your idea or opinion !
Thanks in advance to all community for support. All the best !!!

Good afternoon,
Have somebody any idea about what values I must to add in ethos for my GPU's (NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 Gb) to can under-volt my GPU's ? Current I use:
globalcore 2175 globalmem 4500
But I don't know what values and how to reduce energy consumer for GPU's. I read that this type of GPU's can reach around of 23 Mh/s. Now I obtain only 20 GH/s ! Maybe the "energy" tune will increase hash and reduce energy consumed.
I mine Ethereum Clasic, and I want to mine also Monero. I can use the same values of overclock for more currency ?
I waiting with very higher interest any advice with feedback or idea. Thanks to all for support.

Hi to all,
I use the latest version of ethOS. I allready overclock my GPU's (4 x GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb) and from 16Mh/s I obtain 19Mh/s. Now I want to under-volt the GPU's and after that to try to modded BIOS.
1. How I can undervolt GPU's using local.conf-file (have allready somebidy some values which allready are in use and work for the same or similar GPU type) ? and how I can see the value of energy consumed by GPU's when mine ? 2. How I can export the BIOS file from ethOS to Windows take into account that my GPU's are NVidia ? but AMD type ? 3. What software I must to install on Windows to can mod BIOS for NVidia ? but for AMD ?
Thanks in advance to all for support and advice. I waiting your feedbacks with higher interest.
Kind regards.

Hi to all,
First of all, thank you very much for advice retard75. Unfortunately, I have 4 GPU's NVidia (GeForce GTX 1060 GTX) and I don't know the command line which I must to type in terminal from ethOS to can found the manufacturer of VRAM.
You can help me please with command line which I must to type in terminal ? Also the same command line is available for AMD ?
I waiting with very higher interest your feedback and community support.
Thanks in advance for support. Kind regards.

Good afternoon,
First of all I must specified at the beginning that I am a beginner in mining. Second, I have an rig made using ASUS Z270-P as motherboard, 16 GB RAM memory, as operating system I use ethOS, and as GPU I use 4 NVidia from Gigabyte (model 1060 - 6Gb). I use wallet made/create on MyEtherWallet and I mine Ethereum Classic (ETC). As pool I use nanopool.org.
The actual performance related to my GPU's (GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb) are resume to 68.1 hash for all 4 GPU's.
For this "performance" I don't change nothing on my default settings. But I want to change the GPU's performance only under-volt and overclock GPU's without using BIOS modded. So, the settings use for mine are:
# -----My NANOPOOL Settings - ETC ----- globalminer etcminer maxgputemp 85 stratumproxy enabled proxywallet <my_wallet_ID> proxypool1 etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 proxypool2 etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 # poolpass1 x # poolpass2 x poolemail <my_e-mail> flags --cl-global-work 8192 --farm-recheck 200 # globalcore 1000 # globalmem 1250 globalfan 85 # globalpowertune 20 # autoreboot false # custompanel publicsecret # lockscreen enabled # globaldesktop disabled # globalname disabled
How I can change the settings in a way in which to increase the GPU's performance ? Also what command I must use (in terminal) to see the GPU's performance when mine ?
If somebody from community already have this type of GPU and already have it optimized only with this settings what values/characteristics use ?
I waiting your feedback with very higher interest your opinion/suggestions/advice !
Thank you in advance to all community for support. Keep in touch !

Good afternoon,
I already assembly my rig (4 Nvidia GPU's: 1060 6Gb + 2 AMD GPU's: RX580).
I already install with success Nvidia drivers, but when I try to install AMD drivers (amd-gpu-pro-17.40.2712-510357) I cannot install it.
Command use: sudo ./amdgpu-pro-install -y (also I try without "sudo" with the same effect) Feedback: command not found
How I can fix the command ? Thanks in advance to community for support.

Good afternoon,
I decide to write here because it is important for me (and I am sure that I am not the only) the steps necessary to install GPU drivers for AMD RX 580 (8Gb) and NVidia 1060 (6Gb). I am little bit desperate because I already install in few days (4 days) system (Linux Ubuntu 16.04.3, 64 bit) by a lot of times because after I install AMD drivers I cannot enter in the system.
So, any recommendation is welcome take into account dual GPU mining !!!
Thanks to all members of community for support !
All the best !

Good afternoon,
I already follow the steps necessary for installation MultiMiner on Linux (Ubuntu 17.10) but without success. When I try to launch MultiMiner I receive an error message in which it say that MultiMiner folder missing.
Beside of this I have some questions for which I didn't found yet any answer, but I hope that I will found some here. So, my questions are:
1. What is the latest version of Ubuntu (64bit) for which is optimized MultiMiner ? 2. once all GPU's are mounted on the rig, and Ubuntu installed (recommended version, for latest MultiMiner) it is imposed to be made changes in BIOS ? (except case in which not all GPU's are recognized, and is imposed changes in BIOS); 3. It is imposed that based on GPU's use to be installed properly the correct drivers manually ? (my first rig will have 8 GPU's: AMD and NVidia) 4. MultiMiner detect automatic the GPU's type and model ? 5. It is imposed that GPU's to be under-clocked manually for best performance ? or MultiMiner can do this based on currency choice for mining? 6. Each rig (for more rigs) must have installed MultiMiner ? or can be installed on one PC and from there to be controlled all rigs using MultiMiner ? in this case is important that only the operating system to be installed on all rigs ?
I waiting with higher interest your feedback, to can start to use it. Any recommendation or advice + links is welcome and appreciate (also I am sure that more users will appreciate advice posted). Thanks in advice to all members of community for support.
Kind regards. Johnny

Good afternoon,
Because I am new in this forum and also in this topic, I have some doubt regarding to some changes/modifications on system performance:
- considering that I want to use MULTIMINER it is feasible to made changes in BIOS of system ? (I will use Ubuntu on 64 bit); - it is feasible to underclock GPU's (I will have in my mining system 2 types of GPU's: NVidia 6Gb and AMD 8Gb) considering that I want to mine more currency ? what currency I should use as reference in my optimization of energy consume/performance ?
I waiting with higher interest your feedback with suggestions and remarks. hanks in advance to all members of community for support.
Keep in touch. Kind regards.
