I tried to transfer ethereum from metamask to a crypto exchange. Even after a day it was in PENDING state. I had to cancel after paying cancellation gas fee. Again I tried with a (it said faster transfer ) higher Fee and it got dropped again ! I tried increasing speed at various points without any success losing gas fee. what's happening?
UPDATE : Got it through in 48 seconds now ! Was network too clogged last 2-3 days? what if it was critical or important ! And the worst part it it takes days to cancel even after payment of higher gas fee !

Hello All, Since the cryptocurrency depression starting last Feb, many of us have reluctantly held cryptocurrency seeing it fall over and over again. But HODLERS' resolution has kept it from falling further. Should people who have held cryptocurrency continuously not rewarded suitably?
One way was to fork which have stopped happening , even when recently ethereum forked it did not give rewards but just an improvement for stability. How does crypto community expect those who are mining to survive in such conditions? The other way was margin trading which continuously bring down deposit in form of fees. Not sure if cloud mining reward options are still in place. Wallets like Nexo expect stablecoins !
The only people who are always on profit were crypto exchanges. Where are equivalents to dividends and interest to survive and compete with dollars and share markets.
Are the cryptocurrency economists awake or the discipline is yet to come out of infancy?

I need past 3 months earnings of zec / day historical data with this miner. For example from above links which i gave in july it was 0.53 zec/day , in august 0.41/day as per miners. Need a chart which shows variation of earnings(in zec/day) vs diff of past 100 days or a data chart of past 100 days of coinwarz / whattomine predictions for each day.
|
|
|
Thanks for that. Got one more. https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/zcash-difficulty-chartTo summarize, from July ( release) difficulty has quadrupled (40 from 10) and profitability of this miner has become 1/4th (20 from 80) - this is rough calculation when converted to dollar which is not a very good way to calculate as price of zcash has tumbled from 400+ to 130+. Do we have a chart of zcash coins ( on an average ) mined per day at 50 ksols/s ( i.e per miner) vs difficulty since July release.

Can someone point out the profitability vs hashrate chart / graph for A9 Zmaster 50ksol/s Equihash miner at 620W since its release.

requesting mods to move this to altcoins mining if this is off-topic here

Hello folks, Is there anyone who has solo mined etc with claymore. I have started the geth like : ./geth --fast --oppose-dao-fork --rpc --rpcaddr "localhost" --rpcport 8545And claymore as /ethdcrminer64 -epool http://127.0.0.1:8545 -minspeed 45 -di 0,1 -tt 60,60 -ttli 67,67 -tstop 75,75 -ewal <exchange_wallet_addr> -mport -3333 -r 1 -mode 1I can see devfee collected from time to time. Has anyone tried this.

Does anyone have pricelist of manufacturer for Innosilicon A9 ZMaster. My miner is holed up in airport for about 2 weeks now. The DHL looks like its in collusion with customs and is finding out pricelist of manufacturer, sending trace to origin and whatnots. Regarding pricelist - its a method to determine cost of equipment when its not manufactured in imported country and rest methods fails. - search for method 5 in the below link. https://www.wto.org/english/Tratop_e/cusval_e/cusval_info_e.htmYour receipt isn't good enough? What country are you in? India

The miner is lying at customs after reaching destination ( by DHL tracking ) for more than 11 days now. Have mailed the customs appellate, who has directed a reply but still nothing has moved. The miner was bought by crypto. Even after producing invoice of $300 (for shipping an handling ) the guy now wants bank records to be shown and not ready to accept crypto payment have started happening and there is no bank for that. (This type of import have been discussed on this forum too and US/EU citizens have imported without much hassles). As an option I told him to return the miner to seller (which is what happens when they are not delivered) by charging whatever fee , which is also not being done. It is hoarded at the airport for 11 days now - calculate total loss from July 3rd when it got shipped !
This is what happens when a village idiot runs a country. India brought ICEGATE ( hurriedly copied from ICE of US with shabby website ) and taxed everything flat at 30% GST (I dont know if IGST is also charged in addition) without doing an iota of work or insurance or whatever ( which probably other countries do ) . From cellphones to sims to TVs to cars to bikes to aircrafts to trains every high end electronic is imported to India - the main motive being to keep engineering / intellegentsia away from government and making a loot out of commissions from import deals. Since its colonial commonwealth genes is still rooted strong anything coming not from US/UK is going to be met with severe suspicion, hatred and food for bribe. Now since my miner was from HK and I not being a diplomat / connected to govt in anyway they will make it more tougher. And a few people like me who don't join US outsourcing brigade which itself is a heavily brahminical (yes its a indian jewish(may not be all) problem) H1B VISA arbitrage out of cheap labor, its a nightmare.
Indian govt looks like a kid looking for the shiniest and bulky equipment , crying for it's share. This is microcosm of trade barriers, greedy and idiotic governments can harass citizens with when they feel their existence is at stake.
Don't think many are running this miner in India. The seller sent one example routed through same customs but don't know how he did receive it after 2 weeks!

Hello folks,
I have two questions: 1. Has anyone got into solo mining? 2. Is it really noisy as claimed in one of comments here? As specs have quoted low noise.
#2 It is not noisy at 20% fan barely noticeable but the Innosilicon fan it comes with is super noisy. thanks for the reply. so one of fans among the psu and miner is noisy. comparable to? few more quesitons 3. Incase of power failure and return will it reboot by itself and start mining or does it require a manual restart. 4. What kind of UPS/Inverter/ line interactive one uses for this asic miner. #3 as long as your PSU restarts (any server PSU which retains current state, or Bitmain, or Innosilicon PSU) after a outage, miner will automatically turn on #4 Never had to use an inverter, I don't remember when was the last time I lost power or experienced a spike. So it depends on the quality of your power. Update: specially priced A9 for early buyers has started to ship in india , so you can know the state of power and power outage! that's nice to know that once asic is started it needs no manual intervention for restarts. my asic probably will reach in a couple of days. but just saw this - 3750$ ! https://antminermegashop.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=61

Hello
I am mining with claymore "ETH only" setting with AMD RX 570 4GB. Its mining decently at 26 mh/s. When I check with radeontop the VRAM usage is shown as only 50-60% around 2500M out of 4089M ( 4GB).
Even if we set it to 29 - 30 mh/s by varying parameters will the VRAM be used fully? If not what will be performance improvements with 8GB cards as cards may never require so much memory, as memory width(256) and clock rates remains same.
Please share your experiences.
Thanks

BTC is international , just like internet. It should have been named interbarter or interex or intercoin in larger interest of bit-ignorant public.

Hash-rate is defining paramater that crypto mining expects. Can someone help me in getting latest top 4 performing graphics card (with buying links) based on
1. Multi-threaded architecture: Solving SHA256 , Scrypt and X11 algorithms ( do we have gpus specializing in each - any links would be useful) 2. Memory Bandwidth+ALU - Is this the best parameter to consider than GFLOPS ? 3. Do Radeons (for eg Rx Vega 56) from XFX ATI MSI ASUS or any other company perform same way?
Assuming ( correct me if wrong) : 1. GPU RAM or core clock rate is not really a factor if it is 4gb-8gb DDR3+ to DDR5 and 1333+ MHz 2.PCI-express , PCIe 2.0 ,PCIe 2.1, PCIe 3.0 are backward compatable
