I was about to respond with US , but then I realized that we already have your startup listed.

BTW - psybits is spot on with his answer

Nice site!

I would like to add my site to your directory, but I couldn't find a "Business Genre" that fits my website: www.CryptoStart.com.

Thanks!

8  Economy / Auctions / Re: CNX.BIZ Short Three Letter Domain in auction start 0.10 BTC on: September 05, 2013, 01:57:43 PM
1 BTC

I wouldn't trust this bid. The first bid was 0.1. He could have just put 0.2. I've seen this happen before and it usually means they are not serious about buying.

Care to elaborate on that BIGMERVE?
I simply offered what I am willing to pay. I wouldn't sacrifice my trust rating in this community over a 1 BTC domain name  Cheesy
9  Economy / Auctions / Re: CNX.BIZ Short Three Letter Domain in auction start 0.10 BTC on: September 04, 2013, 05:24:32 PM
Do you have a reserve-price for this auction?
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you invest in a bitcoin startup who places ATM BTC machines in US cities? on: September 04, 2013, 01:27:44 AM
I would invest if you

a) had 1 working prototype (hence they don't sell premade, fully functional Bitcoin ATMs, yet Grin)
b) could get this arms-length agreement to multiple retail locations, in writing
c) had a rock solid plan to tackle the legal issues
d) you could prove you had some other type of collateral to recoup my investment, if the "ATM as collateral" idea goes south
d) elaborated further on you and your partner's backgrounds/experiences

Robocoin and Lamassu seem to be moving right along with this same concept. If you're serious about it, I'd get started on it ASAP

Good luck!  Wink

www.CryptoStart.com

Free directory of the best crypto and Bitcoin startups on the web.
Simple. Free. No catch.
13  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin.com on: August 30, 2013, 09:24:06 PM
Nice job getting that domain!

Hopefully MtGox doesnt try to get it from you since they own the bitcoin name trademark.

That's what I was thinking...

Regardless, that domain is worth some serious BTC

However I do like the fact that it's not just parked or another annoying link farm  Wink

Do you accept BTC?
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Read about our mission here - to make crypto investment easy for everyone. on: August 25, 2013, 10:24:43 PM
I really like this idea!

From reading your blog, it sounds like you'll be doing phased releases of the different features within this unified platform.
Any idea as to how soon until we could begin seeing what the platform interface will look like? Thanks!
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP~My Wallet was stolen, I lost 2.3102BTC!! on: August 25, 2013, 09:14:25 PM
There's nothing blockchain.info can do to help you get your coins back.

If it cheers you up in any way, I've lost over 30 BTC over the past year to scammers and lost wallets...

I'd consider your 2BTC loss as lucky. Many of us have lost much much more experimenting with Bitcoin.

So you've lost more than 2 BTC "experimenting?" As in gambling and getting scammed?
Doing that, you already know the risks and you did it knowing there was a chance you could have lost the money.

The OP got the funds stolen against his will.  So if you lost the BTC gambling, getting scammed, that was your own fault.
Of course, this OP should have just used bitcoin wallet QT or have the info backed-up

I've lost more than 2 BTC via theft, learning how to properly send BTC to an address, and not doing enough research on best practices for proper wallet security. I used the term "experimenting" because I felt that it described my learning experiences (i.e. trial and error) well.

Got it. Haven't used BTC on a gambling site yet..

Also...

I'd consider your 2BTC loss as lucky. Many of us have lost much much more experimenting with Bitcoin.

It's not because someone lost more, that it is lucky to lose 2 btc ...
Maybe it was all he had.

Point taken. It's not lucky to loose any BTC Sad
I'll revise my previous statement: As the territory surrounding a risky bet such as BTC stands, only put up what your willing to loose, write it off as a learning experience, and get back in the game!  Wink
17  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Fate of trademarks when business is failing on: August 25, 2013, 04:14:24 AM
.....didn't know that Gox owns Bitcoin trademark  Shocked

An optimistic scenario would be to transfer it to the Bitcoin Foundation before the sh#t hits the fan Grin
Highly doubtful of that situation though because its $ignificance on their balance sheet.

I believe the trademark would be a marketable asset.

If so, and assuming that Gox has to liquidate its assets, I would hope that the foundation pulls together to purchase it on the open market before someone ill-intentioned gets it.

Kudos on the intellectual curiosity, but as others mentioned, it's a question not to be answered for many reasons..
