Well things are changing real fast. Talking about the "average" customer, i think its the lack of exposure right now. No one wants to pay spurious taxes i guess. So, in the near future we sure do see things happening real fast in cryptoworld. Either there will be Federal regulations coming in or countries will be legalizing cryptocurrencies. But people are going to pick a side real soon.

I agree no country has made Bitcoin its official currency per say ..but they not do not wish to miss the crypto bandwagon either..
Most countries are trying to roll out their own "official" cryptocurrency
The fact that Microsoft and Apple are carrying out a part of their business transaction in cryptocurrency underlines the statement that we are going to see a lot more action in the cryptospace in near future.

The concept of Bitcoin was to tell the world loud n clear that we do not require regulatory bodies to curtail our wish to transact with one another. If Bitcoin comes under the ambit of taxation then the basic purpose of cryptocurrency gets defeated !!
