Ok. This is happening. In China, actually. The Chinese government is about to implement a system called "Social Credit system", designed to be fully operating in the next 2020. As in the Black Mirror chapter, the design is focused on creating a system based on behaviour: the best you behave, the best options do you have in life. As a dystopic nightmare, the Chinese people are going to be their own "social police", by voting their fellow citizens and ranking up or down depending on their own criteria. The social credit system already exists in every country. e.g. - If you work for a company, you are pushed or encouraged to act in a certain way and that will influence severely your chances of promotion. - If you are at school, you are much more likely to get good grades and more free time if you play by the rules. - If you are a child you have a punish/reward system in almost every household to force the "right" behaviour. - If you want to access a good University, they will consider volunteering and social participation as a big plus. And there are many more examples, even in most western countries your chances of getting a job are severely undermined if you have criminal records. However, as with most things related to regulations, the devil in the details. In this case the issue is what will be considered as "positive" and being China... I donīt think any of us is going to be surprised when the list becomes available. And surely, as NadiaHel said this is the column that is the key of the whole thing  Which in essence requires the state to be able to monitor everything that all the citizens do in order to "properly score" the individuals. |

holding will not get you nowhere. holding gives you an opportunity to earn high profit, and the demand that you are talking about will come when the project itself has a latest updates or plan that will make the price increase due to its demand.
Believe or not, holding is the only thing that is eventually going to get you somewhere. Trading is normally a scary activity only for pros, holding will give you the value if projectīs good for it. |

Actually, I get Frustrated from Crypto market, most news is destroying this industry while it's represented as trend for some time, I think many companies will not survive this year.

I agree, like last year, will soon go the rapid growth of the market, the old highs I think they will not achieve, but will grow strongly and in January will again hear stories when people picked up the coins at the bottom sold at a large profit.

Fiat currencies definitely aren't necessary, there is an increasing trend towards digitization of currency, and blockchain based currencies are just the next generation of this. The problem is that Bitcoin came out, and everybody treated it as the successor to fiat currency, rather than an incremental improvement on digital currencies such as Paypal and Skrill. I think that if Bitcoin was never invented, but somebody like Paypal had implemented a blockchain technology first, then we wouldn't be in the rivalry scenario that we're in now.
There is no need of fiat, unless you decide to live in the real world and have to pay a few bills to those old anticuated companies that insist in getting paid in dollars. |

Cryptocurrency has witness a nose dive since the beginning of this year with still no respite in sight with investors recording outrageous loses. As we move enter the last quarter of the year I honestly think what will lift cryptocurrency price up is not more funds ,token sale or speculators.Rather it will be entrepreneurs delivering on their projects with real technology and addicted users. I think 80% of ICOs will not release their product in 2018-2019 because they are scams and 20% will release the product but nobody will use it. So many alts will die in 2018-2019.
But our crypto market will recover after new big money of instituonal investors will come to crypto after ETF on Bitcoin approval in the end of 2018 or early 2019. ICOs will be regulated by SEC and after that new ICOs will release real decentralized product for crowd that will be successfully used.
THat is true, and absolutely normal. Most icos are trying to disrrupt a sector and that is not easy task. Those which succeed will have plenty of lessons for the next generation. |
