Interesting... Could work well with Mycellium Entropy.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Only U.S. and Canadian customers will split 200,000 bitcoins held by Mtgox? on: June 18, 2014, 11:29:30 AM
Failed bitcoin exchange Mt Gox gets U.S. bankruptcy protection

According to the logic,
http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/06/17/us-bitcoin-mtgox-bankruptcy-idUSKBN0ES2WZ20140617

"Under the deal, U.S. and Canadian customers will split the 200,000 bitcoins held by Mt. Gox and share in a 16.5 percent stake after Mt. Gox is sold."

Only U.S. and Canadian customers will split 200,000 bitcoins held by Mtgox

So what about European, Russian and Chinese? They will get nothing?

No, this is yet another case of sloppy journalism, copied and pasted.

Read the FAQ at savegox.com, specifically this part:

"Q: Sunlot signed the agreement with U.S. and Canadian customers, but what about creditors elsewhere?

If the agreement gets the necessary court approvals, it will serve as a framework for returning assets to creditors around the world. All MtGox customers will receive the same treatment and the same benefits."

and this:

"Under our plan, any recovered assets would be returned to customers, after a bounty fee is paid that sets a reward for helping us find and recover the coins."

3  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: MtGox blames Bitcoin protocol problem for BTC withdrawal issue on: February 10, 2014, 01:38:57 PM
I'm expecting the next note from MtGox to read something along the lines of "Thank you everyone for your patience while we drove down the market price.  Thank you also for selling so cheap, we are now able to process withdrawls because we bought so cheaply on bitstamp.  Again thank you and sorry we forgot the lube, but at least we only put in the tip this time."

Haha! Lightened up my afternoon slightly. Smiley

OK, My deposit was credited today. Only took 50 days and God knows how much lost in potential gains... But I'm just grateful to have my money back.
... Now how to get it back out.... Hmmm.

What seemed to work for me was to open up 2 tickets at btce, 1 in Russian and 1 in English.
When they close a ticket, don't just re-open it. Make sure you reply. I think the system will simply close it again automatically if you don't add an actual reply.

Then post in the official btce thread here. Make sure you post in both russian and english and quote your ticket numbers like this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40889.msg3807394#msg3807394

I'll keep everyone posted on the withdrawal procedure.

mellowyellow. It kinda has to be USD by default I think. The way the banking system works any large deposits in a particular currency have to be routed through a bank that holds large reserves in that currency (US Banks) although I could be wrong in that assumption.Smiley

До сих пор не перечислил мой счет.

До сих пор не отвечая на мои просьбы поддержки:

Yes I sent the correct details. I have the proof and swift copy of the transfer from my bank. They are ignoring me and trying to steal my money period.
resolved?

Nope, absolutely no answer still. Posted yet another ticket this week in both Russian and English. The ticket was closed this morning.

They now have a message on their site saying that all International Transfers in USD will be rejected, if the funds are sent by USD then there will be a mediating bank in the US forwarding the funds.

I'm gonna call my bank again today, see what the situation is and how I go about getting my 10 grand back, I don't even care about the 70 grand loss in profits that the exchange has caused me (I sent my money on the 15th of October) I just want my money back. I'm based in the UK.

Might be that I have to get a lawyer to send a letter to MAYZUS (the UK company)

I'll keep everyone posted.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Sent 10,000 USD on the 15th October and BTC-E have still not credited my account... When I first raised a ticket support told me to send in a SWIFT copy. Since I sent that in 2 weeks ago there has been no reply.

Created a fake account on Monday and asked support what their withdrawal limits were. Support got back to me in 5 hours. When I asked them why they are not answering my support ticket on my other account... Silence.

BTC-E WHY ARE YOU NOT RELEASING MY FUNDS???

Please use http://hdbtce.kayako.com/

I have raised 3 tickets, you keep ignoring them and closing them.

Here is one of my ticket numbers that you closed again yesterday!!

Nothing yet.

Yeah looks that way. Just awaiting all the paperwork from my bank. Sad
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning: BTC-E Not releasing my USD Deposit on: November 21, 2013, 10:50:49 PM
Yeah but the bank account was based in the UK... Voice Commerce Limited... I think the company was UK registered Mayzus Financial Services.

If I have to go after them I'm pretty sure I can.

Who is the owner? What's the username on the forums?

They just closed my support ticket. They are trying to steal my USD deposit.
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: wire transfer to btc-e on: November 21, 2013, 07:44:08 PM
Currently in the process of trying to recover the 10k USD that I sent to BTC-E  on 15th of October.
BTC-E are not crediting wire deposits.

I'm in a similar position. Deposited 10k USD using international wire transfer on the 15th October. Send in SWIFT copy proof of transfer but they simply won't reply to my support tickets. In fact they've just closed my ticket and still no response.
I created a fake account on monday and asked support how long withdrawals take, got a response within 5 hours. When I asked why they aren't responding to my other account.... Silence.

They are trying to steal my money.
