I'd like to chime in and say that Talium is powerhouse of a staking coin. A very limited supply and a growing community. The project is still fairly new and the devs are commited to developing the infrastructure. You're more than welcome to check it out https://discord.gg/SqDXd5 . . . Thank you guys.

I'm in no position to give anyone advice, considering I don't even know how to set a fail-over. However I hear people talking, questioning thing they can mine profitably with these moonlanders.
When I first started mining I used litecoinpool.org I was making around 40-60 cents a day. But I got bored and started experimenting with other pools. .

My attack method is to target brand new scrypt algo coins and have POS, mine a few thousands ( the difficulty tends to be really low) and let em stake. Rinse and repeat. .

Here is an example. . https://hashpool.eu/?address=BKhsJPDRxJP2tLWp891gyYzM23h8D4urTL

Easy to mine, and has POS and you can stake at a stake pool  .. . Such as Stake United. .

If anyone can recommend a pool which I can use my Moonlanders to mine scrypt algo coins and get paid out in BTC besides prohashing and nicehash? Also I found this pool but had the same issue https://pool.gigarho.com/

I just want to mine whatever and get paid out in btc
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread on: April 03, 2018, 07:21:22 AM

The pool difficulty is too high for these moonlanders? is there a "highest" difficulty setting for these moonlanders? They come with a stock 128 diff .. Is this something I can set up to try and get prohashing to work? or is it a lost cause

setting the difficulty at 512 / 768 works pretty well

you want low difficulty coins to mine or there are a few multipools with low difficulty ports you can use

ordered another 5, I know they will probably never give roi other than with the luck factor but I really like em.
can't wait for jstefanops' next creation

Yeah! It's still not hashing . .I let it run for about 15 minutes and it only accepted 3 shares from 6 moonlanders

worker diff is too high.. some pools just wont work with these.

Is anyone else having issues mining at prohashing.com?

This is the command I am using

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 -u stockfadi -p a=scrypt,d=128 -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=832
pause

I am able to connect the the pool, but no shares are being hashed ..

What the hell am I doing wrong?

"Configure your settings by going to the settings tab
Configure payout proportions and payout addresses
Use the "a=" password argument to select the algorithm your miner supports.
(optional) Set up electricity usage tracking and the "p=" and "w=" password arguments.
(optional) Set up U.S. dollar payouts or other available coins.
Point your miner toward prohashing.com:3333.
Use the same username as you use to log into the website.
Enter a blank password or use password arguments, which enable powerful features for controlling miners and mined coins.
Port 443 proxy server also available at proxy.prohashing.com:443 if your hosting provider blocks port 3333."

BTW! the same thing happens to me at Nicehash. .

I've still yet to figure out how to set a "failover" pool  . .I did a bit of googling and found a thread talking about setting up the BAT file a certain way?

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://lycheebit.com:3433 -u iZBPmJNw6Mog42k8P9zvPtYkTwcU1gRir4 -p c=IC,d=128 --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://stratum.miningpool.shop:20004 iZBPmJNw6Mog42k8P9zvPtYkTwcU1gRir4 -p c=IC,d=128  -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=832 pause

Mr. Stfano? Can you assist in this matter for a failover pool? POr is there an internat setting in BFG miner?

Please forgive me ahead of time . . . I just was wondering if someone can link me to any information regarding setting up a "safety" pool for my miners in case the pool I am mining at starts to give me trouble? I don't know what the process is called. . I just want to be able for my miners to switch pools (if I am not home) in case something goes wrong . .
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread on: March 14, 2018, 02:11:20 PM
I've had the same 6 USB sticks running with no problems for the most part. .However this morning one of my sticks refuses to hash. . The green light is solid but the red light doesn't flash or turn on . .the BFG mining GUI doesn't even recognize the stick? And ideas on what happened? They've all been on the same 2 pluggable powered USB hubs. . I remember a while back 1 of the sticks stopped hashing for some unknown reason, but it worked again . .I don't remember what I did to get it working. .Now I'm having the same issue . . .I did a re-start of my computer.  but I'm still stuck.

EDIT: I figured it out! somehow the device manager had the port turned off . . Not sure how it happened . .Strange!

Can someone please help me figure out how to send my miners to 1 or more coins at a time? Currently I can only mine 1 coin at a time. I was hoping there was a way I can set 1  or 2 of my sticks mining different coins at the same time? Is this possible?

This has been covered multiple times here. You need to create two separate bat files specifying which sticks and which pool you want run with each bat file, and run two or more instances of bfgminer at the same time.

there are 63 pages on this thread .. Most of us are newbs. . at least a link please? or something I can copy & paste?

Find the COM ports each stick is connected too. Change the "-S ALL" in bat file to "-S MLD:\\.\COMx -S MLD:\\.\COMx" with x being the com port numbers.

If your using linux the format is MLD:/dev/ttyUSBx

Mr. Stefano . . thank you . . I had to walk away from the computer for a few hours before it finally "sunk in"  . . I got it to work . .thanks again

now each stick will need a new .bat file?

EDIT: NVM . . I got it

I guess I gotta wait for someone to make a video with instructions in english. .

Come on. Which part you did not understand? Are you one of youtube generation and can't understand written english? Maybe you should give up mining and do some gardening? Easier.

All of it . . I am part of the generation which has just gotten into mining. . Who's not affraid to ask questions. . And who's not affraid to get lambasted for asking such newb questions. . Thanks for your "help"

When I make a new .bat file

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3333 -u Thestockfadi.moonlander -p 0420,d=128  -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=832
pause

and when I change the "MLD:all"  to MLD 0 or 1 or 2 or whatever. . nothing happens when I start the new bat file . .
