Hi there.

What is the latest driver supported by Cast XMR?

Can i use 18.10.2?

Or it's the same as xmr-stak? and i can't mine with the drivers after 18.6.1?

chers and good mining

I've tested already and it's working. and i'm even getting bigger hashrate than with xmr-stak.

Thank you very much and keep up the good work devs.
I forgot to say i'm with rx580's

It makes me remember when China banned cryptocurrencys last year.

It looked like the end of the crypto world. Huge drop after 1 month of drop in price. The ship was sinking like anything.

After the storm it comes the calm. I don't believe we will recover so fast as last year (after 1 week the price was even bigger than before)

But I expect the price to be in about 150€. This is the value I've seen around for some time, so for the market it seems like the fair price.

For me I think comparing with the other coins 250€ is a fair price.

The MyMonero Desktop app finally near release. RC3 available for download. It looks great, by the way.

And what about ledger wallet... Anyone has any fresh updates?

Still using monerujo wallet on android, and it's been very nice and stable but I would prefer to use ledger wallet (I bought it because of Monero support anyway).

The price was going upwards steady but the stupid bears keep stepping down on the price. We want to go up, but there is always something pushing us down. C'mon bulls the gate is open. Let's move out 😁😁😁

I see everyone talking about wait to sell when it's high.

But this situation can be even good for you. If ethereum goes pos you can use those eth you have to generate even more so... 25000$ is a lot so  you should have a decent amount of eth

Just need to keep your investment safe a little longer
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: POLL - Would you vote for a hard fork that obsceletes ETH ASICs on: March 29, 2018, 10:10:39 AM
Yes. Save gpu mining.

Even if it goes pos (and we'll see how it goes) we need to keep the fight against ASICS.

Otherwise we won't have a decentralised system for sure.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: VOTE : Do you want the ETHERIUM DEV. to Fork it --> Save GPU miners ? on: March 20, 2018, 09:24:40 AM
Yes. Whatever is the best for the community and the network.
So as I believe yes is the answer.
And to be honest i don't know if it will be next or if it's being already exploited by ASICS. As the difficulty has increased in the last 3 months. Maybe it's a switch because of the profitability, and everyone changed to it. Like I did, i quit monero and started with ethereum. Hope to be back home now with the fork. We'll see 😁😁😁
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU Mining Still Profitable? Should YOU Build a Mining Rig? GPU Mining Dead? on: February 28, 2018, 12:06:41 AM
An other option is to donating your GPU computing power (and get MEDIC coins rewards) to support protein folding at home project of Stanford University through MEDIC Coin's folding at home initiative.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2753447.0

Why the hell are you spamming your MEDIC coins all over the forum?

Create your own thread and spam it there???...
That's what normal people would do.

In my opinion this is a nice project. The first thing is the privacy, of course.

The windows wallet works fine, their project to make a blockchain VPN is very interesting. You will need itns  to pay for the VPN so you have your need for the coin right there. I think it's a wise move from them not to go to big exchanges yet. Because they are still upgrading and adjusting the blockchain. If they flood the blockchain and the transactions take too long it'll be their end.

From what I've seen these devs know what they're doing. And they have been making wise decisions.

KEEP up the good work. Baby steps... But steady steps. 😊😊😊
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO in 5 years on: January 19, 2018, 10:00:08 AM
I like Monero. It is one of the top coins that truly has a great code and community. They are unique as it is, by design, the only untraceable coin. But the thing is that they have a lot of work to do. They do not have great wallets with simple UX. They need to be able to use easily on Smartphones. And the fee could be higher.

If they work this out. It will be a top5 coin.

Have you tried monerujo wallet for Android?
If you say that's not simple to use, I don't know what is.
Just download it from Google play and try it

Looks like some progress on Ledger support:

https://github.com/monero-project/monero/pull/3095

I'm very happy to see this. We're now one step to have monero support to our ledgers. I hope it's for both blue and nano s.

KEEP up the good work devs. 🍻🍻🍻
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: John mcfee next coin prediction? on: December 28, 2017, 11:54:03 PM
Lets predict here what his next coin might be!!!
sorry but who's this guy that everybody follow him? Are his predictions always good?

I was just about to make the same question. People should use the brain a bit more. Not only rely on others thoughts
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 26, 2017, 10:46:31 PM
Monero at 777$ in 12 June 2018  it's my guess.
I'd love to lose the competition if it was before that. But to be honest i don't think so.

Hi there. I installed yesterday this miner and I notice something strange... (Or not).
yesterday night i left the computer mining with it. It actually started very good.
 Using xmr-stack I get 4700h/s using 800w.
 Cast-xmr was getting me 5200h/s using 830w.
Good enough for me.
But when I woke up in the morning it was mining at 4700h/s using 780w.
Anyway its still using a little bit less power to mine the same.
Today in the afternoon i got some messages in my email saying miner disconnected. And my hashrate for the last 6 hours was awful.

MY setup is Intel core i3 4330
5x RX580
1x RX470
Motherboard asrock h81 btc 2.0
Psu be quiet  dark power pro 1200w platinum
8GB crucial ballistix smart tracer 1866mhz
Virtual memory 32gb (using 7gb) overkill of course
Blockchain drivers from 23rd August.
Now it's mining at 5109h/s using 820w
I had to restart my PC 2 or 3 times to get here. Let's see if it falls down later.

Any guesses?

Just by writing this message I can see something.
Everytime it appears share accepted,  the hashrate is decreased by 1 so now its already 5095.
