I like to see bitcoin in the same light as a mathematical formulae. Its a governing codebase that every other cryptocurrency gleans from and its development both past and present sets a strong precedent for a new decentralized community driven economy. This is what gives it value.

I have gone on radio earlier this year to talk about bitcoin, held local meet ups for almost free, sponsored ads on facebook targeted at my locality, printed T-shirts that show bitcoin, talked to unbelieving friends and family and pretty much bothered everyone i know to get on the ark before the floods come crashing. Phew! I need an award i think (I wish the bitcoin foundation will reply my mail to fund a little campaign in my city & little beyond)

I will want to liken the creation of tokens to the creation of websites, different websites are set up daily to serve several purposes and the value of a new website cannot in any way devalue preexisting ones unless they are in direct competition to dominate a particular niche. As new tokens are created and added to the cryptocurrency ecosystem their defining use cases & future development will determine their value just like it is for websites today.
