What to do if you are a United States residence? I want to participate

Made an account last night. Went to sign in on my desktop this morning to complete the transaction. I couldnt get in. Still had the site open on my phone. Was able to sign in. Can see my incomplete transaction. But someone else name and email is on my account. It would not let me change my password. When clicked forgot password, it said my email was not registered. (on the desktop). Meanwhile on the phone, since i couldnt change password. Was able to add 2FA. Can anyone explain this. How could chrome sign me in with the saved password and email address. Yet cant sign in with my desk top. Someone else info on my account. Have I been hacked? Has the site been hacked? Recommendations, I already put a ticket in.
