Similar to ASIC's, the problem with FPGA's is they are of limited use on memory hard algorithm's. I remember back in 2018 there was talk on developing FPGA's for accelerating GPU mining, but I don't think they have produced a working unit as of yet. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4391318.0Yea big failure with Squirrel, I was waiting for that and glad that I didn't purchase. Hashaltcoin seems to be good for FPGA miners but with shit coins. I can see what you mean with the memory because of some coins that are little more famous but can't do much. |

FPGA miner was released a couple of years already and seems not a lot of people are interested on it.
Someone who owns it can share some experience?
I was keeping an eye on Hashaltcoin Blackminer and only can see F1 series, how about F2?

Guys, forget the batteries because you can't backup more than 10' to a miner of let's say 1Kwa (with only 1 battery). You will need thousands of Lead Acid batteries and will cost a fortune every 18 months.
By the way, if you are not electrician and don't have knowledge, I don't recommend to do it by yourself because you have lot of cables to connect. At this point you have many factors to consider like cables Amp capacity, quality, connect by polarity, cables distance, modify the switchboard, etc.
From the other hand, if you intend to connect your Grid Tie to the city pole, you might need to request a permission to do all that modification.

Apart from having this indicators you should know how to use them at the appropriate time, Rsi, MACD, FIBONACCI, BOLLINGER BAND, this are cool indicators to make use of, and another thing you should learn apart from using the indicators, learn the time frame too.
The time frame is my other problem, I was wondering from where to where. Many people start & stop drawing on an unknown time that I couldn't figure out. I know how to read RSI & MACD, but Fibonacci still an obstacle for me. Other signals like S&P 500, Bollinger, etc. are another plus to analyze and get more accurate for the own prediction. And yes, it is very important to chose the coin and time to invest. |

I think China is HIDING test from the public. Wouldn't be the first time in just this particular scandal.
forget fox news racial thoughts towards china for 10 minutes. here is a rational thought. when wuhan went into total self isolation yea the numbers subsided.. thats the plan. the same plan for all countries. what is not being said on news is that there WILL be another wave. once people start leaving their homes and mingling with others again. WHO have said it. heck even many governments have said it self isolation is not to irradicate the virus from existance. but to curb the spike and stop everyone getting it at same time. expect numbers to plummet and then go up again.. just expect a 2 week gap. dont treat this as the end of the virus for china and that if it does appear again then it was some conspiracy to hide numbers. but instead treat it as what every rational person knows and WHO have said for months to have the virus spread in waves instead of a spike so that it doesnt put too much strain on healthcare in one go and expect the wave pattern for every country.

Lot of people doesn't care because is not going to change anything, this is because you live in a lazy country that wants everything without doing anything.
Japan & South Korea are the countries that I admire, they have education, respect, vision, commitment, achievement, etc. look how they evolve for the future. They have hundreds of things that I still didn't see and it amaze me, things that other countries they don't do it. Now think what you have in your country and what you want to achieve in your life.
WHO had the responsibility to treat this virus and warn, prevent, inform the world.
If you don't care, I don't blame you and go ahead, but don't cry like a baby if you or your family, friends, etc. have the virus.

China's a communist nation. Anything that makes their government look bad is a problem for them. This is the same reason they silenced doctors who first were noticing new cases of coronavirus back in December and why they chose to exile journalists from the country. They don't want the true number of cases getting out.
How come China handled situation much better than Italy and USA which both had several weeks to prepare for the epidemic but the rate of spreading is faster than in China despite smaller population. Trump is just pointing fingers because he realized that situation in his own country went out of control and now he needs someone to blame. China literally closed their citizens to their homes until the virus stopped spreading, while most of USA is still not under quarantine and virus is spreading freely and situation is getting worse and worse. easy to reply... only asia has the habit to use mask all the time, also take a lot of precaution. what other continents practice this? if a country had a previous virus and didn't learn to take prevention in the future, then forget to have control at 1st stage. about the numbers, we will never know China's real number so is useless to compare with them. a foreigner living in China realized the news was modified, so on twitter he showed some evidence. |

I forgot to mention...
Many Taiwanese people work in China, including Wuhan, so Taiwan was very afraid when spot the virus on December, as many people fly between both countries.
Taiwan has the best system & program for health insurance in the world, so the knowledge & technology is very advanced. Not to listen the warning & discard it was a reckless act. And who cares about the politics when you have the virus running all over the world?
Do nothing is like... I don't care, but what if the virus got into your family? did you prevent & what did you do? did the virus was prevented to the world?

I had the same question of Holding or Trading.
I've been holding for a while and seems to be forever, because I mined/bought in many values to sell it at higher price or when it brakes 20k like before. This holding implies to wait 2~5 years approx.
Now if you trade (depending on your knowledge) you will have a cash flow rotating quicker, no matter if earn or loose.
If you earn, the amount will be bigger than holding during 2~5 years; But if you loose, you might loose more / brake even / earn a little.
This is my point of view, I'm also new to trading and started to study to make small trading.

besides of RSI & MACD, I gave a try to Fibonnaci and seems pretty cool with the Fib Retracement.
I'm not an expert and still learning on this, been watching some youtube but can't find how exactly use it (Using I mean draw and read). any idea where I can find a good tutorial?

I would only use the support and resistance method, if the key support or resistance is broken i would wait for a consolidation before buying. Also i use the falling wedge and rising wedge methods cause they're actually pretty accurate most of the time.
Indicators is i rarely use, cause it doesn't seem to be effective in the Cryptocurrency market.

I'm sure freefall won't happen again if there is something that can make this coronavirus disappear immediately and also, at least there has been news about vaccines related to this problem, hopefully there will be more positive changes in the near future if the vaccine is correct and can be mass produced because after all, this problem must be resolved quickly if we don't want this crisis to get worse.
Validating the potency of the vaccine can take 12-18 months according them. But starting this trial vaccination is already good news. Are they still covering up something here?  in some part they cover real information and show what they want, remember that China is communist and everything is controlled by the government. answering your question from the chart, it is more likely because many cities was in quarantine and up to date some still ongoing. the lock down lead to 0 movement outside, if a person was caught outside without authorization, that person would be paying a big fine. now besides from Asia, every continent are ignorant and don't care about taking prevention. lot of people are not used to use mask and avoid crowded places, now you have the result in each country. |
